Water ride question

We are going to be visiting in December and was wondering if anyone knew if they close the water rides because of the weather?

Nope. Still running. Often in December, you are getting temps in the high 70's. Just bring poncho's because in the lower temps it will take forever for your clothes to dry.

We were there in December last year and rode Splash Mountain twice and Grizzy River Run 3 times - so the answer is no.

We only got a little wet on Splash, but anyone not wearing a poncho on GRR got absolutely soaked with freezing water so I'd definitely advise wearing a ponco for GRR.

From a Splash Mountain junkie, don't ride Splash first thing or at 1-ish. The water levels are highest at those times of day. If you do bring a poncho, wrap it around your bum. The seats are often very wet and having a wet butt all day is just awful.
