WDW Tickets in DL

I got some info about this in a previous post. One thing I forgot to ask. I have 2 days left on my WDW old PHP. I want to use those days for the 2 days I'll be at DL. I know I can do this. I read that when I get to the park I give the CM my WDW pass and then they will take it to the office and scan (or whatever they do with it) to see how much time is left on it and give me a corresponding 2 day DL hopper ticket. If I'm wrong about this, someone please correct me.

But what about the plus options on that WDW pass? Will they give me the pass back after deducting the 2 days off of it, so that I can still use the remaining plusses at WDW? Any help with this info is appreciated.

I would think your plus option would still be there, but I'm not positive.

Do you just show your ticket at the turnstyle as you enter Disneyland, or do you need to go somewhere special? My brother wants to know because he will be coming to DL in Sept and has WDW tickets.

The way we did it last May with our WDW PHP's was go to the actual gate where you enter the park (not the ticket booths or customer relations because they won't help you). Give your tickets to the CM when you reach the front letting them know you want to trade them for DLR hoppers. They will hand it to another CM who will go and call WDW to verify and remove the day you will use. They will bring you back your original tickets letting you know what you have left (we had 2 water parks days left) and also give you new hoppers for that day.

Keep in mind that you have to do this everyday. You can't trade in two days at once so I recommend getting there early. It's great getting in but it stinks when you have to step to the side while hundreds pass by you!

I'm just back from DL and we used our 7 day WDW park hoppers for our 1 day DL admission. Just as was posted above, we presented our tickets at the turnstile. The CM called someone to get our tickets and a few minutes later we were given paper tickets and our WDW PH's were returned to us. The only disadvantage was that it took 4-5 minutes to have the tickets in our hand once we turned them over.

I would be very surprised if any of our plusses were subtracted.
