I heard nobody’s buying Dasani water...
I went into a local Dollar General look for wheat bread for my Nana and there were cases of Dasani everywhere!

People will soon start to realize that the coronavirus hasn't affected supplies. This is why education (secondary and post-secondary) needs to be free.
DW sent me out with a list at 7am hoping they had stocked shelves overnight.
Still no tp of course.
But the weird one was banana peppers. We are making pizza for dinner tonight and the section of jarred peppers was completely wiped out. Pizza will be a little bit less flavorful
I watched a lady clear the shelf's at Publix and then stand there and argue with manager... she was yelling at him that she was entitled to it, as she was from up north and paid for him to live... and "how ignorant you people from the south are" Yep you read right... Thankfully he stood his ground, and actually another manger brought him a empty cart, he took the one with the kleenex away from her, and put 2 boxes in the empty cart, then her husband rolled up with another cart full of paper towel, and toilet paper, then he took 2 of each out and into the empty cart... and had the other manger escort them to the cashier... and took the rest back shelves... and this was at 7:15 am ... quite entertaining...
I have stockpiled shampoo and conditioner...the H20 kind...in little sizes...from a resort...
You would not BELIEVE the number of people over the yeas that screamed at me, especially when I worked in Emergency Management, "I pay your salary!!!" because I was a public servant. And - if there was some kind of emergency going on, it got even worse.Good for the manager for standing his ground! Nobody needs a cart full of Kleenex! (And shame on that customer for pulling the "I pay for you to live here" bit...ugh!)
No OTC med's or vitamins
No basic canned goods, no soup to be found
I went to 3 stores yesterday and bananas were sold out at every one. Who the heck is hoarding the bananas? All the other produce was stocked. The first store we went to had no oatmilk of any kind. Oatmilk? Really? I didn't know that many people even drank oatmilk? Luckily the third place had that but I had to stop at Starbucks this morning just to get a banana.
Little to no toilet paper or Lysol whips.

First off - you think SCREAMING nasty things at me make me, or any other rational, feeling, human being MORE willing to help you? Rally?
Secondly - I guess that's a veiled threat to FIRE me from "your payroll" or something, or maybe "bribe" me to meet your demand(s) (as that's when it usually became employed as a strategy - as a way of demanding something).
Last but not least - my thought ALWAYS was - "If you truly DO pay my salary, then I deserve a RAISE, and especially for being yelled at like this, by people like you!"
Thank goodness I had grown, and continued to grow, a thick skin, and also some compassion, and realized people were just expressing their fears on the nearest target at the time, which happened to be me. I TRIED not to take it personally, although it sometimes sent me home depressed, saddened, disappointed, and yes - at times - TICKED - at human primal behavior. That's another reason I shared a POSITIVE experience I had this morning in another thread, and without being Pollyanna, I try to spread genuine warmth, caring, and positivity anywhere I can, whenever I can, in my daily life, and especially in times like we're living through now.
