Where do you get dropped of at MK?

We will be staying off site (WAH) this year and someone will drop us off at the MK. Will we be dropped off at the MK and if so where or at the TTC. We have a character breakfast in the castle at 8am.

You will be dropped off at the TTC and have to take the monorail over to the MK. The only busses allowed to drop off at the MK are WDW busses.

You will be dropped off at either TTC Bus Parking (via bus or shuttle), or the Guest Drop Off at the TTC (via car).

You'll want to arrive at the TTC by 7:30-7:45 for an 8:00 PS.

Lindym, another option is to ask your friend to drop you off at the Contemporary. It's a short walk, and getting there on time will only depend on how fast you can walk, not the monorail schedule. Good luck.

This really isn't a good idea... Not to mention Security will probably not allow it.

As for the time difference... it's a 8 minute walk from the Contemporary to the MK... versus a 4 minute monorail ride. Trains come every 90-120 seconds during peak morning hours.

You shouldn't have to pay anything at all. There are signs for the Guest Dropoff, and the toll plaza folks will be happy to direct you as well.

While on this topic... this is something I really don't understand. When y'all rent a Towncar to pick you up at the airport, and take you to any of the Magic Kingdom resorts, they charge you extra, claiming that Disney charges them $9.00... That $9.00 is to park... There shouldn't be a charge for dropping off at a resort. Especially, since if you go via Vista Blvd, there is no toll plaza. And if you go after the MK is closed, Security does not collect money. *shrug*
