Where to start when looking into ABD?

Newbie here, where to start when think about an ABD trip. when will 2024 dates / tours come out? Is there a way of getting the best pricing? Probably looking at just the two of us empty nesters going.

And feel free to ask any questions you have here; lots of us have taken lots of ABDs and are happy to answer them!

2024 dates for the Land tours should be out in May of 2023. The dates for the 2024 River Cruises have already come out. Some of the Expedition cruise dates for 2024 are also out.

The best prices are when the dates/trips are first announced. The prices will go up as the departures fill. Also, they have frequently offered a very limited number of Early Booking discounts if you book close to opening day.

Sayhello has covered most of it, the only other thing I can add is that third party sites will sometimes have additional discounts to save you a few hundred per person, depending on cost of trip. Like DreamsUnlimitedTravel which I have used.

Just wanted to clarify that technically, third parties can't offer a discount. What they do is offer a rebate. (Basically they give you a portion of their commission).

To add on to what @sayhello said above, some of the Escapes that add on to the river cruises and expedition cruises have also been released.
