my DD seems to enjoy it too..we did Smithsonian this summer and she enjoyed it so much more than I thought she would!!! We are going to concentrate on more local historical stuff this year (skipping big trip due to this cruise! Would love to see mayan ruins!

We are lucky that both the kids LOVE doing historical tour stuff. We spent 10 days in DC with DH on his internship last spring break and 6 of those were in the city itself...2 with just me and the kids. We spent 10-12 hour days there...then took the hour metro ride back to the apartment. They wanted to move there right then. We hit most of the monuments, smithsonians, Washington monument & Capital tours (including standing in line for over an hour to get tickets for those very early in the morning...they were so good! I would like to go back there in a few years to do even more. Both of them enjoyed the Mayan ruins in Costa Maya on the 12/9 cruise too.

Does anyone else love scrapbooking these trips? Wonder if we could setup some scrapbooking time onboard??

I think there are quite a few of us. It would probably be fun, but I have never learned to take just what I need.....I take almost everything and there is No Way it would fit with my other stuff. But maybe a scrapbook retreat somewhere where at a later date and we could relive our memories.

There are many scrappers in the group along with someone who owns a shop! I was going to suggest a scrapswap within the group & meet onboard to exchange items one day.

That would be fun and way more manageable.

OK - all caught up!!!

scrapbooking - everytime you guys bring it up I feel ...I have a closet full of albums - mostly Disney - and all kinds of scrapbooking stuff I have picked up along the way. Tons of photos to organize - tons on the computer yet to be printed out. At this point, I don't even know where to start....and with the time I am spending here - what are the chances of starting on that stuff in the next 18 months??!!!!
