They were schooling by the boat and we were baiting two hooks per rod and just dropping the lines in and hauling up two at a time. The captain and mate were focused on getting the fish off the hooks and rebaiting the hooks, so we were ankle deep in fish flopping around on deck.

WOW! That sounds like a dream catch! I've heard more stories about not catching a thing.

Yup. Just like my lucky 8 ball tells me "Most Definitely" when I ask it if I'm going to get a room assignment tomorrow.

:lmao: :lmao:
This is what mine says

I might have just been insulted........... LOL

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: No... seriously!! When people can make up words or think on their toes after midnight, it shows their true intelligence. With that being said, you'll see how much intelligence I have after midnight when I can't find the elevator buttons.

:lmao: Mine always say "Reply hazy. Try again.":lmao:

Dont worry none.........You guys can use our room...........I'm sleeping by the Adult pool........saves me from the morning rush to get a chair......... LOL !!!

Mark

I think its' time for another round of 7 questions for this weekend....
SEVEN QUESTIONS...
1]. TWO PART QUERY.... Given a choice would you choose living with excess HEAT, COLD or HUMIDITY? Or name your preferred environment. Given a choice - what would be the LAST environment of choice [least desired aspect] from the preceeding options?

Well, we already live in excessive heat & humidity in the summer and we can have it a bit chilly in the winter (although I grew in PA where it was COLD) . . . so my personal choice would be live somewhere with the heat and humidity . . .as long as it is close to the ocean .. DH and I have been talking about Grand Cayman . . . My world traveller sister loved it in Tel Aviv . . .so until I visit there, I hold that in reserve . . .

My LAST environment would be Seattle or London. Both are just miserable most times of the year . . although I wouldn't mind visiting

2]. TWO PART QUERY.... Who's your favorite HERO? And what about your favorite Archvillan?

Larry Boy is my favorite HERO (if you don't know what I"m talking about . . check out Veggie Tales) . . .I don't typically like any of the villians . . LOL

3]. What's your all time favorite TV show (or movie if you have no favorite shows).

Definitely 24 . . my dh got me addicted . . . We don't miss it

4]. Did you brush and floss your teeth this morning? And what about last nite?

I did brush my teeth . . . do not like flossing . . .

5]. Whats' the most charming or thought provoking thing you have seen, witnessed or to have happened in the past 48 hours?

We say the 25th Annual Putnum County Spelling Bee . . . It was definitely thought provoking . . . caused some good discussions with the kids.

6]. If you could wake up tomorrow and relive any one day from your past... and relive it with possible changes ... but returning to the present would NOT change... what day would you like to relive? It's just pure fantasy.

Wouldn't mind enjoying our last day on CC again!

7]. If you could change one thing about your home - what would it be?

That would be like EVERYTHING . . .LOL. We're going to move in the next year or so . . . The DSs would like their own rooms. DS10 has requested two stairs (maybe we'll get a basement . . ) DS12 wants a larger yard . . guess he doesn't understand that's means he gets more to mow

Can't wait to read everyone else's list.

Have a super night!

No need to worry....we'll help you, Princess Jennifer :worship: :worship:

Besides, wasn't there a designated driver (cabin finder) assigned a couple thousand posts back :confused3

Dont worry none.........You guys can use our room...........I'm sleeping by the Adult pool........saves me from the morning rush to get a chair......... LOL !!!

Mark

You could always carry one back to your room every night!

Mark

I thought that, too . . .Guess it would be more comfortable than sleeping in the hall to get pins like last itme . . :rotfl2:

Thank you!! And, BTW,it's Queen Jennifer. Not that it's a big deal there really is no need to bow or anything like that.

I actually think we have two designated walkers and brack promised to help me with the elevator buttons, but I'm afraid John is going to steal my towel out of my deck chair, I mean GTY room and I won't have anything to cover up with.

We put down DW's kitty of some 13 years today...:sad1:
Oh no, I'm so sorry. :(

Is it really quiet in here tonight?
It is? I was gone only an hour or so and came back to tons of pages! Mostly people drinking beer, passing it around and jumping on beds like monkeys. :confused3

DH wanted late dining for the sole reason that you get to eat breakfast later on disembarkation day.
That was one of our main reasons too! However, we ended up not even going to the last breakfast! LOL (and I wonder how many people think we didn't tip the night before because of it. Ohwell...)

BIP strikes again............ WOW !!!

Mark
Why do you sound so SURPRISED?

Wait until you see mine
:lmao:

I saw it........Lorri....you are the Queen !!!!

Mark
Yeah. So now y'all can rag HER about her huge multi-quote post. :)

Not the Queen - just borrowed BIP's title for the day. I'm sure that tomorrow I'll be around for most of the day and will relinquish multi-quoting til another day.
But I think you had more than I ever have. So that makes you queen now, right?

You thought I'd really do it? I'm not sure I have the cahoonas (sp?) to do that. If I did, I'd have to be in disguise the whole cruise so as to avoid Stacey slapping me upside the head, atleast once. :rotfl:

Nah...only once...

Yeah, that's pretty much EXACTLY how I envisioned it happening... you turning red and all. LOL

TAKE WHAT YOU CAN!!!!
GIVE NOTHING BACK!

I do use it, especially if we aren't out on a boat where I can safely leave my bag or backpack. I feel a whole lot better having our KTTW cards and stuff right there with me.
Linky poo please? I need one of those. Last time I just used that big red waterproof box thing we bought on the ship. Not exactly comfortable carrying that around on your neck.

she took the lead again! You didn't think that your crown would last long, did you?:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I took the lead again? My last post had more quotes than hers?!? wow

Too bad we aren't keeping track of T.O.P.'s.

Top Of Page
Oh don't go there...

Yeah, but we don't need to get THIS group started on any more competitions!
True. So true.

We were signed up last time for the margarita tasting, but we had imbibed just a tad too much the night before, so we canceled.

Yeah, I know.....LIGHTWEIGHTS
We're going to work on that on the next cruise, right? And you know why...

T.O.P..............again !!! Wooo Hooooo.............what can i say.........I'm easily amused !!!

Mark
You are easily amused! LOL

My days on my last cruise.

Get up whenever. Breakfast. Lounge & Drink around the pool. Lunch. Lounge & Drink around the pool. Nap. Dinner. Rockin' Bar D.

Other activities were squeezed in as necessary.
sounds good to me!

I nominate Jennifer as activities coordinator !!!! popcorn::

Mark
I second that!

Well, you totally rule in my mind! You gamble (and win at it!), shop, and love Disney and more importantly, Eeyore! :thumbsup2 . Impressive!

Do you have any kids? I am sure I am way behind, but I thought I may as well ask, just looking for kids that match up with mine, DS15, DD13, DS12, DD9 and DD2! Happy Saturday night everyone!

Poohmom :hippie:
Is that the ages of your children at the time of the cruise? Because mine will be DD14, DS10, DD8- that's pretty close... atleast on some of the ages...

I do, and I just happened upon it in the middle of January when we were leaving for our last cruise. Great timing!!! I really liked the info on the ports as well as the info on the Panama Canal! But, I can never get enough books...I get every single edition of every Disney book I like! SCARY!

Poohmom :hippie:
Where are they on sale for $7?

We were on a DCL Western..........2nd time........... Last stop for shopping.......Cozumel............I got into the Tequila on our excursion..........Laura and I got into the Margies at Carlos and Charlies..........plus I had to do Tequila shots with my buddies from the cruise........then shopping............and Viola Lots of Jewelery !!!!

Big, Nasty, Mocking, and Laughing Credit Card bill !!!!!

Mark
taking notes: SO THAT IS HOW YOU GET LOTS OF JEWELRY! jotting that one down in my binder. LOL

1am is the minimum. As I usually am up till they close the place down, there will be no set time to report to the pool. Whenever you feel like it.

Both good choice drinks to start the day. You may just be in line for assistant activities director.
Aha, so Jennifer wil become my nightowl friend. :)

As long as you eat standing up the calories don't count!
So THAT is what I've been doing wrong all along!

So sorry about the kitty, we had to do that a few weeks ago with our kitty. It was awful, and she was only 6, but she had apparently had cancer in her kidneys and we never knew until she suddenly stopped eating! The only positive part of the story is that we left for our cruise a week later and it helped the kids to have something to look forward to! In fact, we surprised our family by showing up unexpectedly on the cruise :goodvibes It was so cool!

If anyone has time for a story about the surprise...here goes...

We took my parents and DH's parents on a cruise in Jan. 2005. We were celebrating both grandpa's 60th birthdays. Our reasoning for spending so much money for the whole trip (11 of us) was that we have 5 kids and we really were so grateful to them for helping us so much over the years. Plus, my husband's parents hadn't been on a real vacation for at least 20 years, and being newly retired, we hoped to inspire them to take more trips!

Well, we had a BLAST and we really didn't know what we were getting into with my in-laws. The next year they took my newly wed sister in law and her new husband on the Disney Cruise. Then they booked another cruise on the ship to go with my DSIL again AND my husband's aunt and cousin (who had never been out of Wisconsin before!). So, when we heard that they were all going, we called our trusty TA and she got us 2 rooms right down the hall from them. She linked our dining and everything! They had NO idea we were going! Our oldest DS turned 15 the day before we left and when DMIL called him, we were at EPCOT and she was at the hotel in Port Canaveral and she still had no idea.

Then she called us when we were on the ship!!!! We had just got to our cabin without being seen by any of the other family members. We were laughing sooooooooooo hard!

We had a hard time deciding when we should reveal ourselves because we didn't think we could make it all the way to dinner without being seen, so we decided to just knock on their door about 15 minutes before the safety drill started. We went to DSIL first and she was ssssssooooooooo happy, we have never traveled with them before as they are still newlyweds (about 2 years now) and have no kids. Then we all went to Grandma and Grandpas room and knocked. The look on her face was priceless. She cried for about 20 minutes! What a fun memory for all of us!!!!

Poohmom :hippie:

Awww, what a sweet story! How wonderful. :)

I thought that, too . . .Guess it would be more comfortable than sleeping in the hall to get pins like last itme . . :rotfl2:

I'm glad DCL fixed that on the last EB. I heard it was a real mess!
