If they do pirate night the night we are in Aca then those of us with early dining will either miss the dinner or a couple of hours in Aca. Seems to me they could pick a sea day like they did on the TA.

With all of the sea days I don't see why they would not choose a sea day for that.:confused3

We are planning on staying for 4 nights at the DL hotel. Do you think this will be too long? We figured it would be so crowded with the holiday week-end that we would take it easy and swim at the pool during the day and go in the park for dinner and for the evenings. Are we going to be bored?

I'm big on lounging I love to just swim and go to the district and window shop instead of the park as soon as we get there. It's not like in FL but there are things you could do free when you are on site.:thumbsup2

Just checked my DCL reservation still a 9 GTY...hoping for an upgrade:cool1: The longer before letting us know the more my hopes will be...hope I'm not let down:sad1: Well, have to put my little ones to bed...you know school tommorow. Have a good night everyone:)

Just popping in to say hello - I don't think that I have posted on the thread since spring but I have been trying to keep up when I can. There are six of us going on the cruise. It will be myself (Liz), my best friend (Kelley), her husband (Brett), the kids(my godchildren) Jessie-14, Abbey-9, Mason-will turn 1 on the cruise.

We are staying at WDW for two nights pre-cruise and at the Grand Californian for three nights post-cruise. I was on the 2005 Westbound PC crossing and can't wait to do it again!

We used to spend 5 days there for our visits. We are down to 2 or 3 now. So my answer is there is lots to enjoy and re-enjoy when you are there for more days. I think you will like your time there. Also, while many here are staying off property ( I get why Disney is mucho $$$$) staying on property is really cool. There is just another feeling that it provides. At WDW you can find a less expensive hotel and still be in "Disney" sites that is not the case with the off sites at Disneyland.

Stepping off my soap box now, go ahead I'm ready to dodge the tomatoes :stir: :lmao: :rolleyes1

GREAT NEWS ... NO HOSPITAL!!!! I was getting a bit aprehensive because my legs just don't look like they are clearing up enough to be gone by the end of the new antibiotics....that would have meant hospital attmittance and IV antibiotics. YUCK! But I called my Dr. today to find out the results of the culture that thay took in the emergency room and basically, I have strep throat on my legs...it's the same bacteria.

When I told my Dr. the update from the emergency visit he said he wanted me to go to the wound care center at the hospital...they see you 3 times a week on an outpatient basis. YEAHHHHH!!!!! I'll go for that! So I'm setting that up now to get started.

I'm so relieved, you guys have no idea....the only procedure I have ever had done was sinus surgery on an outpatient basis and they had to give me a valium when I woke up, another when I got in the car to drive there and another when I got to the hospital. I was so upset, I kept saying...it's not working, but DH kept saying, yes it is. I was a wreck. I just don't do well with medical anything, much less with a hospital stay involved. But now I don't have to! YEAH!:goodvibes :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

That is great news!!

NOOOOO!!!!

Well that is what DVR's are for!!

When does Desperate Housewives, Brother's & Sister's and Grey's end?:confused3

I'm hopeful for some of the ABC finale's on the Dumbotron - Grey's and Lost are 2 I'm most going to miss.

I totally agree with you on DL, Nan....
I know I can save a bunch of money staying off property, but it's way to convenient staying on. My favorite is the street view at Grand Cal or the Conceirge 3rd floor poolside at the Paradise Pier. They are both the same price (funny) but right across the street from each other. Just depends on who I go down with. We do the park in 3 days now. BUT we leave super early and start our first day the day we arrive.
I have it down to a science now...

Alert though, my friends just went down...3 hour line for Nemo...no ride is worth that!
Crazy...also they went to Club 33 for the first time. I've never been, but they said it was really nice, Great Lunch and they took them on a tour of the whole place showing them cool stuff from the past and current.

You all were chatty today...

Noel did you get yours yet?

Spreadsheet where are you???????? Lisa, are you on that???? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: just kidding

I hope you do well and then it's over :woohoo:
I'm counting down the hours! My plan was to head home and jump straight into bed tomorrow night after that last exam. But first I do have to work out my schedule for next semester. It's done and I registered a couple weeks ago, but there are some classes I need to juggle around and today through Friday is the only time they let people do changes, so I have to be ready to head there right after work Friday to take care of that. Then I'll be doing my celebrating Friday evening! Dinner & drinks with the girls from work at my favorite Mexican restaurant! :yay: THEN I get to relax for a couple weeks until next semester starts.

Molly is feeling better now, she is sitting next to me fighting with her brother. And he is fine too, asking me to change the tv to cartoons. Time for them to go to bed I think. :rolleyes1

Hey guys,

I haven't been around in awhile. My 4 children have been keeping me very, very busy this summer!!

 I just wanted to tell you, that we will not be joining you on this wonderful trip after all. :sad2: I am sad that we won't get to meet all of our new friends, after all this time together. I know you will all have a great trip and I look forward to reading everyones trip reports! :surfweb:

Good Luck! GO TEAM!!! Hope they win!

And we were getting along so well...

RAIDERS! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! 49er fan here! I'll have to dig out my RAIDER HATER t-shirt for the cruise!!

Before marriage and child, Sunday's were my day to sit (usually with my dad) read the paper and watch football and Nascar.

Ahhh, those were the days...

I'll be happy to buy them from you....let me know how much for both pairs. My normal size is a 5....but I have edema and I can wear a 6, 7 or 7 1/2 depending on the day and the amount of swelling.

I can wear a 5-6 on a no swelling or low swelling day.

Believe it or not, I have shoes in all of the above sizes coz you never know what size will fit each day.

PM me with your address and the amount so I can mail the payment....or if you have a paypal account, I can transfer immediately. Let me know. Thanks.
:hippie:  :hippie:

Deb,

PM'd you...

So glad about the healing of your legs and the wound care. Don't let up on taking care of yourself at home though...

Karen

Since it's expired you do have to apply for a new one...and they don't need your old one either. We had to send ours in with our renewal since they had NOT expired but they punch holes in it and do return it to you.

I have all my passports going back to when I was 2 years old. The child ones only are good for 5 years but it's interesting to see how I've changed each 10 years, with the general theme being my face becomes fuller every decade, one more reason to continue going to the gym. Now that I'm 42, the one thing I noticed when it's really hard to the weight off and it comes on super easy.

DD's and my passport are expired, so I took her to our local office to get her a new one, as they have to be done in person if they were young when the first was purchased. They said both DH and I have to be there to get her a passport! Can you believe it!! As if DH can get off work between 10 and 2 on a weekday!!

cheesh...

Karen

now now Karen, we need to keep ourselves open minded to the multitude of DOD....wine, beer, RUM......Where's the RUM!!!!

and ya, no raiders here, only 49ers....

ok funny story. a few weekends ago, SJ grand prix weekend, we went to the mini gourmet (the 24 hours eatery) down the street and around the corner (or around the corner and down the street) and our waitress (who we've been friendly with for years) tells us that Joe Montana stopped in just about an hour before, on his way to the races. Molly say "who?" Paul and I in disgust realize that we have been lacking in our parental roles in that neither of our children know who Joe Montana is. Not to worry we talked about him the rest of the weekend...the kids know him now.

back to the regulary scheduled talk of nothing important...(oh sorry that was what I was doing huh?) is making fun of yourself like talking to yourself?? I don't think so, but perhaps it is??????:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Lisa: I need a day count shout out!!!!! Can ya give us one please? (do the Lisa's here have #'s) I'm of course talking to Disneylover this time...you knew that right?:confused3

No Tomatoes! Those are for eating! Especially when they are fresh from the garden!

Couldn't agree more, we love staying at the hotel, we stay at the Grand Californian on our DVC points, for an afternoon of swimming and DD and I usually fly down before DH just so that we can spend an afternoon shopping and having lunch in Downtown Disney.

We usually do 3 to 4 days, just so that we can relax at the hotel and have enjoyable dinners, like at the Napa Rose!!
