Disney Picture of the day Part 2

I was thinking that it might be fun to make a picture theme for 2008. Those of us who love to post here and will be going to WDW this year would take a picture of the theme item and post it when he/she gets home.

Some ideas for a theme:

Monorail
Food Item
Main Street

What do you folks think? Have any ideas for a theme?

My DD and her BF just got back from WDW. While they were there they got to play a bit with Mike and Sully, the BF wanted to get an official Mike picture...you know the kind where Mike is barely visible because he's behind something.

That's great! I never thought of that we might have to try it next time. Great photo.

willis37862, very neat picture. I'm tempted - on my solo trip in Jan. - to wait through the queue just to see some of the stuff I've missed... (at least I'm assuming that's from the Everest queue... )

Thanks Joe It was near Everest but not in the queue , from what I can remember it was over to the right of the queue area. There is an area where you can stand and watch the coaster come down the mountain and it was in that area. Near the area that I took this picture. I hope this helps more than it confuses

Just a few quick pics here as the three of us head out to a post Christmas...Christmas party.

Ariel and her best friend Jack were not participating in their Christmas pictures. They're still cute though.

Here she is opening her first Christmas gift ever. Notice the wrapping paper? Notice what's in the wrapping paper? Notice the quilt? Notice that she's a seriously messy eater and we should have changed her clothes before opening gifts?

Second Christmas gift ever. I think she's gonna eat it.

And here is the best present of them all.......Her!!

I can't take full credit for the hidden Mickey. He was pointed out to us while on the Segway tour by our guide.
Look on the middle of the crown of the first guy on the left. You will see it!

Awww, sorry! I actually dont know you because I just recently started following this thread - I came in just about the time Ariel was born. (I recall seeing her pictures). But, I am glad you are back around. If your WDW pictures are half as beautiful as your DD's pictures are - I cant wait to see them too!

WOW! This is Amazing! Is this for real? Can they actually get the Castle to look this beautiful or is this photo colorized in Photoshop?

Thank you for the compliments. I was just standing there at the right time just as it was changing colors. The ones just before and just after don't have all the colors. The colors are all "real" - no Photoshop. I did do a bit of "digital darkroom" on it but that was just brightening up the shaddows a bit. I didn't add color at all. The original unedited (other than to resize) pic can be seen here. I'm just thrilled to have a few pics worth posting this trip!

Has anyone used the Kodak z812 HD 8.2MP 12x digital camera? Do you like it and the image quality you get with it?

They are on sale for a good price and I was thinking of purchasing one. I would love a little input from you guys, Thanks.

I just got this camera for Christmas! So far so good, I think we need to go back to WDW to test it out though.
