No need to be rude...my question was valid. Just because you see someone doing something that you might not do or understand does not mean that is ALL that person does.

It would seem to me that if this individual expresses his love for the Lord to the extent that he would gladly be ridiculed for it, than it's a good bet that he would also serve in other ways as well.

Quite frankly - someone who announces that God told them to skywrite love letters across the sky - whom announces items like THAT, would also share his helping of starving children, etc etc.

Thats just my opinion, of course.

I (like a previous poster, ) saw the Billboards that advertised "we bare all!" We had a good chuckle (Me, DH and DS16) as our little ones asked what was so funny.... Did they ruin my trip...no...am I glad they are not in my State? Yes.

Honestly we had the girls pics taken in the Rose Garden after the BBB and when the CMs were making up the Photo package they apologized for the 'sky writing'. Truthfully I had not even really noticed it. The CMs explained that pics taken there often have the sky writing in them. When I picked the pic I wanted as an 8x10 I just cropped off the top. However, I did keep the other pics.

It's fine for an individual to express himself. This is still America though and people have a right to believe differently and should be able to go to a theme park and not have their experience compromised by sky writing. Imagine if this guy was handing out leaflets.

I have no problem with people who do this by the way. I just politely decline when they're offered to me. I can do so without giving them the finger or swearing. A simple "No thank you." always works and they always move on in a polite manner.

What if this guy was holding up a sign in a movie theater off to the side stating the same things? He may not be holding it in front of the screen or blocking anybody's view but he is still there and doing it on your time. Time that you've paid for.

I haven't read all of the thread yet. But so far I have a few things to day...

1. If I had sky writing in my picture in front of the castle I would be more than annoyed (even though I am a Catholic. I don't want stuff like that ruining my photo.)

2. When we were there he had some trouble. Apparently "Jesus loves baiies"

3. It's not just sky writing telling us about Jesus and God. It's telling us this guys views on super controverisal things like abortion. I don't care to think about that while I'm enjoying my day at WDW.

Ehhh - doesnt bother me. A friend of a friend, who is a DIS'er sent it to her, (because of the obsession with Disney we all have) and said something about it being her dream-guy. Cracked me up.

I have been reading this thread and getting a chuckle out of it I mean whats the big deal?!?... Before seeing the darling princess photo... now I can see the point of the annoying part of the skywriting. If it had been in the photos of my princess after her BBB... pics that she will save and have forever... well that would tick me off. I love Jesus as much as the next person but that photo shows me how much it takes away from pics ...

Thanks!!! It really DOES take away from it. And when youre lollygagging through the park - it really DOES take away from that 'removed from reality' feeling you have when youre at WDW.

Why is everyone just ganging up on CathrynRose? She has a right to her opinion. You don't agree with it? Fine. But no need to attack her. I haven't seen her attack anyone. She's just stating her views and a lot of you are being insanely rude to her. I don't see what you're trying to accomplish by attacking her views and calling her things like "ignorant" and "wishy washy" (or whatever it was.) What is the point? You don't have to agree with her views.
