I was thinking the EXACT same thing!!!! Do TELL...cast member how? where? when? :cool1:

Jayden will be a FABULOUS Hermione!!! She looks a lot like Emma Watson! All y'all are gonna be in SO much trouble when she hits the "boy magnet" years!!!;)

I think she means CM at the DisneyStore. The Disneystores recently went back to Disney owned making the store employees Cast Members again.:cool1:

I ALMOST FORGOT! I had pictures of my babies taken the Saturday before we left and they are GORGEOUS! If you want or are bored you can view them at http://www.kaybrownphotography.com/mp_includes/index.asp! On the right side click on order/view pics, then click view all events and we are the first one listed: Adkinson!

The pictures are beautiful!!! I saved her website, since I'm in Florida I might have to check them out. The girls haven't had their photos taken in forever!!

I'm glad you had such a nice time!

Your girls are gorgeous!!!

THANK YOU!!!!

Welcome home Mindy! I loved the sister pics...makes me cry! I have to go back and look at them more closely but they were beautiful!

AWWWW thank you! I too love sister pics!

: Oh my gosh, they are soo adorable!!!! Yoru girls are precious and those pictures are so cute. I bet you bought each and every one, huh??

Thank you! Let's just say I NEVER leave her studio without an empty wallet!:rotfl:

Those pictures are just precious and priceless. Your girls are just beautiful.

Thank you soo much!

Thank you! She really is the best! I always HAVE to buy every picture she takes because they are all good! And she took those pics in about 20minutes!:scared1:

I finally finished my BIG GIVE outfit.

This is Jayda modeling the doll outfit I made to match:
th_LionKingdoll.jpg
Oh how precious!!!! There is NO reason to be insecure about that applique I think it looks great. Stay with me a second and I will show mine you did MUCH better lol. It should make you feel a lot better about your skills! :rotfl2:

Those shorts are cute! Since I made my DD outfit with the whale fabric, I've been looking for a way for my boys to match without it looking too girly. I think the shorts are cute on your little one, but not sure if DS7 would wear them.

I was thankful my husband was on board with him wearing them. He made a comment when I first bought that fabric that he sure hoped we adopted a little girl because no boy of his would be wearing it. :rotfl: He saw the shorts and said oh that is ok. Course we will not tell him about the appliqued tshirt till tomorrow night after teh damage has been done. ;)

Hi Everyone...just thought I would share a few pictures I took of my little one in her new black pettiskirt....all "Minnie'd up"....:rotfl2:

Beautiful!!!!

Okay, I'm having a bad day and Mindy's pics cheered me up and since I'm on my computer with the "old" photos I thought I'd post a couple I LOVE of Lily. They just go to show, that even if your child is crying throughout the entire photo shoot you can still get some good pictures!

Lily2-1.jpg

And not to leave out the big kids. These were taken before Lily was born. And I love the missing front teeth..and the toes... and little boy bruised legs...wah! They're growing up!

1-1.jpg
Oh my love the pictures! I love the snaggle tooth look too! They all grow up to blasted fast! I have one that will be 15 this summer ... it is just not fair!!

I finished my friends outfit for dd:

th_DSC00483.jpg

not the best pic, but get the idea

here is what I did with $3 jeans from walmart:
th_DSC00487.jpg
Awww so cute! I love this fabric. Mine is burning a hole in my sewing box! I love what you did with the jeans too!

AHHH I won't panic but...we just changed our ressies for our trip to Disney. We were going Dec7-13, but since I am a cm now, I decided to try a different time with a different discount. We are going Sept 28-Oct 4. That is only 107 days away!

I have dresses to make. Outfits to invent. Shirts to make. ADRS to make! I am very excited that we are going earlier...a little bummed it won't be during Christmas time...what to do with my holiday mickey material? But, we get to go earlier and during a slower time!

Okay,,,not panicing anymore. Will post compliments of everyone's wonderful outfits in the am!

I can cough think of a few things you can do with your mickey material! Maybe you could send someone a pm with a pic and tell me how much you want for it lol.

We are hoping to go in December....so I know exactly what you can do with that holiday Mickey material...hahahahah!!!! :rotfl2: (JUST KIDDING)

When ar eyou guys talking about going??? We are going the second week in Dec for A's bday! I would love to meet up with you guys if you are there! There is word through the grapevine that we might be a "real" family by then! Would love to celebrate with soem fellow adoptive parents!!!

I just finished dd's 101 dalmatian outfit except for the buttons for the strap (the buttons will be on the back)

and ds's matching shirt again

Now for my really bad rendition of a whale applique lol. It is however done though and that the cool thing since I have to have it in the morning! Also thankfully he is rarely still so noone will see a lot of the uglies lol. BTW we went with the water is clear theory because my night was devoted to something else. ;)

sewing024-3.jpg

I remembered about halfway through that I do better going quicker than when I take it slow!

And what my night has been really devoted too.

sewing022-2.jpg

We did nails ... obviously not hair. I had forgotten how giggily 4 and 5 year old girls are! DD is on the left and my best friends DD who is 5 is on the right. They are STILL awake! And we have to get up early in the morning. Sigh what was I thinking.

Sorry so brief but I gotta get to bed now! Look no time for color! :headache:
I almost didn't recognize you withtout the color!!!
UM... I wouldn't suggest trying to make them. And they're not real easy to buy either. Making them involves LOTS and LOTS of fabric, and LOTS and LOTS of ruffles. Buying them involves LOTS and LOTS of patience (the company takes FOREVER to produce them), or a happy bidding finger on :wizard: ! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Soon, very very soon!!!
ok what happened? I don't live there anymore I am no longer "required" to watch LOL

Nevermind I got my answer LOL

I'll tell you what happened, although I doubt you will hear the real story on the news!

Lydia made up a cheer for the "Red Wings in Ann Arbor", and then PooF! They won! They can thank this Stanley Cup win all to a little 5 year old!

When Corey was little, 101 Dalmations was his favorite movie!

The applique looks great! Heather says she does better when she goes fast too!

I hope you get some sleep! Arminda is just now going to bed. She fell asleep as soon as she got home from school, then I made her go to Walmart with me, then I realized she still had a BUNCH of homework to do! :scared1:

Here is a Minnie dress I just finished. I am grateful for the daisy tutorial. I almost put a Mickey head with a bow, but decided the flower would dress it up more! I was working with a remnant and the dots are not quite straight, but she won't care.

I spent most of the day typing touring plans on 4x6 cards. The closer the trip gets, the more I think of to do!

That is terrific!!! I've never seen a Minnie dot done like this!!! This is really spectacular!

20 days left!!! Oh boy!!!! How exciting!!! I'm waiting to get under 300!!!

ETA: Lydia just saw the screen, (yah, she's up late too!) and now she is begging me to make this dress for her!

And, just because I am still up, I thought I'd share with you all a little story.

On Monday, I got to my meeting and was getting out of my van. One of the other sisters was arriving at the same time. She looked at me and said, "OOOhhh, you are a PRINCESS!" My hand IMMEDIATELY shot to my head to see if I'd left a tiara on, then I looked down at my shirt to see if I'd forgotten to take off some of the red ribbons that I had sewn on my blue shirt while we were in Florida.

Perplexed by my odd behavior, the sister then pointed to my van and said, "Your antenna topper. It's a crown."

:headache:

So how many "normal" adult women would shoot their hand to their head to see if they are wearing their crown, then check to see if they are still dressed as Snow White??

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I had completely forgotten about the totally cool Princess Crown antenna topper I had bought at Disney World!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

I love the Minnie dress, but where is the tutorial for the flower that you mentioned?

So I was at Walmart tonight and saw they had some clearance disney fabrics...

this fabric $3.00 yard
P1010194.jpg

this little mermaid one also for $3.00 yard
Sorry you can't see this one very well.

And then there was a silky/satiny pink Hanna Montana...that I think was $5 a yard...

I didn't buy any tonite...but I may have to go back and get some...Happy shopping....:moped:
