This was my attempt at the moon last night. Shot handheld with 55-250mm IS.
Camera Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi
Exposure Time 0.0025s (1/400)
Aperture f/5.6
ISO 100
Focal Length 250mm (400mm in 35mm)
his exposure was 1/400 of a second so that is pretty fast plus his focal length( adding the crop factor in) = his shutter speed so that helps you be able to hold it steady enough to get the shot you want( not taking anything away from it, it's still a good capture)THAT is AWESOME! I don't know how you held so steady!

something about jelly fish makes them so photogenic the local zoo doesn't have them but i love photos of them..also like your signature. do you do that with a program like vista that lets you write( personally can't figure out vista's but what else is new)? Here's one for today:
Shot at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Unfortunately, they don't allow tripods or monopods, so I had to brace myself firmly against...the glass. You should have seen the smudge I left. ( I did clean it, in case you were wondering)

DeletedPenguin - I've always loved your DL shots and now another great shot with the Jellies. Do you have any outside shots of what the Monterey Aquarium looks like? Or anymore shots inside? We are thinking of traveling to Yosemite with a stop over in Monterey....my youngest daughter loves sea turtles.
Jen, that shot came out great! And you got flowers! Win-win!
beautiful shot! i see another award in the future
The hubster surprised me with a small bouquet of flowers. This rose is from the bouquet.
