I have had it! This morning it was -19F with wind chill values near -40F. Do you want me to provide you with a link to our local chamber of commerce to see how quickly you can relocate your family here?!

We leave for Disney in less than two weeks. We are only scheduled to stay a week, but we may never return home. This has been the longest, coldest winter ever. (I'm quite confident the polar bears everyone is worried about could survive here!) Of course, knowing the FARGOMAN curse, Florida is probably headed for a freaky freeze next month.

As of this moment, I am officially boycotting the rest of winter. I refuse to participate--no more snow blowing, scraping my windshield...nothing. Call me when we reach 32 degrees here. (Talk to you in July, I guess!)

Later

(Can you tell I just MIGHT need a WDW vacation?!!)

I'm so sorry Fargomom. We have had a rough winter here in Ohio, too, but I would cry if we were getting those kind of temps right now.

We went to WDW a couple weeks ago, and it really took the edge off. I can make it now!

Make sure to think happy thoughts about the weather when you go down. Remember Peter Pan! :flower3:

I hear ya Fargoman. We aren't that much warmer in Bismarck! Seriously, the attitudes :sad1:  of people aren't good. Everybody is so depressed over this long, cold, snowy winter.

We're in Michigan and this has been our coldest, snowiest winter in years. Between the economy and the weather its got everyone down! We just have to hang on and keep hoping for spring. I saw a robin two weeks ago!

I hear ya-

Northern Indiana has been horrible also. I travel to Grand Rapids at least once a week and it is even worse up there. I will join your boycott- no scrapping or shoveling anymore!!!!

Checking in from the North East. This is so true. Getting everyone down.
We broke our record for snow at the end of January. Talking about a blizzard on Monday!

Where we live the winters usually aren't that bad, but I think we got your weather this year. I don't know whose winter you got.

We had a relatively warm day today, so every hour or so I spent some time throwing snow off my front lawn and onto the street so it will melt. I'll be the only one in my city with no snow in my yard if I keep it up. :rotfl2:

But it sure is warmer where the snow is gone.

I feel embarrassed to complain about the cold, but you must understand that this is our first winter. We moved to Kansas from warm Southern California during the summer. We are not used to the cold. It will snow tonight, and it is in the low 30's right now. I can hardly wait to hit that warm, Florida sun in 2 weeks!

Maybe next year I will be more adjusted to the cold.

We're in PA and I've had it up to (points to ceiling) HERE!!!

I'm with you in your boycott!

Upstate NY is no better. Tomorrow I play in a YMCA fund raiser softball game. Game time temps will be about 5 with a wind child at about -5! And I have a pin code sitting on my kitchen table that will go unused! Ugh!

Sorry about the cold weather up north. It was sunny and 75 here today in Florida. Have a fun and warm trip!

I'm joining your boycott of winter Fargoman. This winter has really been lousy
& I'm so ready for WDW. Hope you have a great trip!

UGH! Just remember, next week is MARCH!!!

Personally I think the entire month of February should be dropped from the calendar. WORST MONTH EVER.

Everybody can relax because I ordered Spring and it should be here soon. I actually thought that it might have arrived by now but I'm guessing that it got held up at the border (we're in Canada). Yes I too am sick of winter and I'm counting down the 56 days until we're in the Sunshine State!! At least we have something to look forward to ...

We leave for WDW tomorrow. The temps in Orlando will only be in the low 60's for our trip. I hate Michigan and I hate winter.

I want to be warm *&#@-it!

Hey Nik's Mom,

Welcome to OPKS! I'm right here with ya (I live in south Overland Park). :goodvibes I hate to tell you, but this winter has actually been pretty mild for us this year. By next year, you'll be more used to our weird weather roller coaster. Have a great time in the Florida sun! :cloud9: OP - hang in there; it can't last forever. :thumbsup2

Hang on just a little while longer!!!:thumbsup2

I guess this puts the 40s and 50s we've had into perspective. I will try not to grumble about the cold weather anymore! :)

We hear you Fargoman2!!! It's been cold in Vermont. But DW is from Winnipeg and she says we don't know nothing about it being cold!!!! (I'm sure you would understand.) We're not headed to the World until April ... need to get past "Mud Season." Send us all a report it will help us keep our Disney hopes up!!!
