Samantha & Dave's PJ... 2/8/10 WP/ADH, PS TR Started Pg 78!

Congrats Sam! How exciting.

(Though I'm still perplexed how my fellow Klutz-Queen can be coordinated enough to dance though :confused3 :rotfl:)

I know how you feel about all the major life changes happening all at once. I went through that last year - New house, new car, new job, got engaged... all in the span of like 6 months. It's overwhelming, but then it calms down. I look at it like the bandaid effect. If you get it all over with at once, you have more time to enjoy it all after the dust settles before you're due for another biggie:cutie:

Good Luck with everything!

OH Sam that is wonderful news!! Congratulations!!! That is such a big step...but so wonderful!! I have always wanted to own my own business. Good for you!!

Ok so I don't think I ever congratulated you on the dance studio, so

party:

CONGRATS!

Oh and last night we were at DTD and there was a dance group performing on the stage and I thought 'Sam should get her students to perform down here!'

WOW! Congratulations Sam! That is such brilliant news  you are going to be one busy girl with a Dance studio and a wedding coming up :cutie: Well Done :flower3:

haha thanks, I swear I am only coodinated inside a dance studio! Outside in the real world I trip over air on a regular basis lol! I am starting to dream about how calm life will become after the school year starts and I can breath again... although my WDW PS trip next month will surely help ease my nerves lol!

OH Sam that is wonderful news!! Congratulations!!! That is such a big step...but so wonderful!! I have always wanted to own my own business. Good for you!!

Thanks Amanda! It is going to be quiet an adventure!

Thanks Becky! I soooo want to do that in a few years with my students! This year we are (hopefully) going to perform at a Celtics pre-game which should be a lot of fun for the kids!

haha I keep thinking I may be crazy taking all of this on at once but oh-well! Thanks Scarlet!

Yeah for your first day. :dance3::dance3::dance3:

Linda

Thanks Linda :goodvibes

Congratulations on the studio!

I have been MIA because of computer difficulties. I will definitely check out your posting on Facebook of the dance. I definitely know what you mean about a lot of changes too while planning a wedding. Although, thankfully all of yours are wonderful changes that are exciting :goodvibes Besides my car accident, Kris also started his business right before we got married. Its always exciting, but a little nerve-wracking too. I can't wait to hear about your adventure!

thanks Vanessa, I didnt realized Kris started his business right before your wedding too! I am really trying to get on schedule for the next few weeks, its strange to totally change hours, driections, and type of work lol!:goodvibes

So I have a small update... I got my wedding shoes!!!!! I am sooo in love with them it's not even funny!

So the inspiration shoe that I was in love with were these Stuart Weitzman's... now I absolutely lovvvvved the shoes, but I did not love the $450 price tag:scared1:! And I am pretty sure your shoes shouldn't cost more then your wedding dress :lmao:! Oh, and Dave would've had a stroke if I bought $450 shoes:rotfl2:.

Anyways, here are the $450 shoes for karma!

So I searched all over the internet for similar shoes that didn't have a 4 1/2'' heel, and came up with these. They are 3'' heels (not too crazy right?) and they were only $78. Thats a heck of a lot less then $450!

Here are the wedding shoes, mom is still not convinced of pink shoes, but she'll let it slide lol!

What do you all think???:confused3

PS - 30 days till I leave for my planning session!!!!!!!!!! Yippppeeeee!!!

Hey Sam, love the shoes. They are somewhat like mine - with the buckle - but mine were in white.

Here is a photo of my shoes and pink crinnie.

Hey, not sure if you are planning on using a crinnie and if you are planning on dying it pink - but I have one that I used and you are more then welcome to it if you want to use it. It has a velcro waistband so it would fit you. I will forward you some photos.

Linda

LOVE THE SHOES!!! How can you go wrong with pink?!

Thanks Heather, your so right it's pink so you gotta love it lol!

Ohhh they are really similar, I think I almost got those and had them dyed but them I remembered that I had dyed shoes for a wedding I was in, and the dye ran all over my feet when I walked in dewy grass. I had green toes all week lol! I would love to use your crinny though! I was going to dye one myself, but it could be my something borrowed! I am picking up my dress next week and will see if I need a crinny with it, I don't think I ever tried it with one:confused3 Thanks so much Linda:goodvibes

Hi there! I found this a couple of days ago, and I just finished reading all 75 pages! You girls are a riot! :lmao: I'm not a DISBride (hopefully in the not to far off future, though) but I love reading the planning process you guys do! I'm planning on a DFTW and I'll probably being borrowing a lot of your ideas that you borrowed when it comes around. :goodvibes And congrats on the dance studio! I took dance for 11 years when I was younger. There's a soft spot in my heart for the teachers. Anyway, I look forward to reading your progress about your wedding itself! Hope you don't mind my coming aboard the train!:dance3:

As far as using a crinnie goes, I was not going to use one as my gown had one already in it but when I tried on my gown with the crinnie it just gave it alittle more body.

WELCOME ABOARD:goodvibes! Thanks for reading my ramblings too! Yay for being a future DisBride, the boards really are amazing with being so incredibly helpful and supportive. When it's time to plan your DFTW you know where to come, everyone here is awesome, and the ideasa you can pick up are so great!

Sam, honestly, I much prefer your shoes to the super pricey ones! :cutie: So, nice work!!

Thanks Anjanette, I think knowing that they are $450 also makes them somehow less appealing if that makes sense:lmao:

It could definately be your something borrowed. Let me know and I will ship it out.

Linda

Thanks Linda your the best :goodvibes

I agree...I like your heels better! Good choice!!

Thanks Heidi, and I figure I could easily wear them again after the wedding.

As far as using a crinnie goes, I was not going to use one as my gown had one already in it but when I tried on my gown with the crinnie it just gave it alittle more body.

Linda
