Stop Making Me Laugh Or I'll Pee My Pants! Go Back! I Lost My Shoe! Trip Report!

I thought for sure that I replied to the MK post. Oh well..guess not!

I love the balloon pictures! For some reason, balloons on Main Street just make me smile! :goodvibes

Yay for being under 2 months!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I tried to take a really cool balloon picture but I couldn't get a good one like some of those I've seen here on the Disboards.

:banana::banana::banana::banana: Lucky!!! :cool1::cool1:
Wish mine was under two months. Oh well I'll stick with my under four months!

It'll be here before you know. Seems just like yesterday when I was still way up in the 100+ days!

You're both lucky! Mine isn't even on the books yet!

You know you'll start planning a trip soon. I always say we are going somewhere other than Disney but then the fever goes away and I get over it.

I wanted to update you guys on Lacey's medical situation. She went to the cardiologist this morning. He looked at the EKG and the chest x-ray and then did a thorough examination. He said that it wasn't unusual for young women her age to have arrythmia. He also said it didn't seem to be anything life threatening. And then......dun, dun, dun (that's doom and gloom music:lmao:), he told her he'd like to run at least three more tests just in case.

Well, just in case ain't happening. I don't want ya'll to think that I am a bad mother and that I don't care enough to get the testing done. It's just that we've already had a crapload of tests done and now two doctors tell us that it's nothing serious.

I think we are going to sit back a while and make sure that she continues to feel "normal". If she does experience anything like she did before, we schedule the tests.

I thank all of you for your prayers. I love that the Disboards have brought me such special friends.

I've been busy lately, and just caught up on the latest installement.

I ALWAYS carry a screwdriver with me. I mean, why wouldn't you. You can fix those obnoxiously wobbly railings, poke the scooter's tires out...all kinds of things.

Actually, this made me think of something semi-related. Last September, my parents, my boyfriend, and I went to Carowinds. There, they have metal detectors you walk through, and if you set it off, they'll search your bag, but if not, you can just walk through. Well, Dad was emptying his pockets of change and realized he still had his pocket knife with him. Rather than walk all the way back to the car, he just asked Taylor to stash it in the inside pocket of the bag he had. Well, sure enough, Taylor sets off the metal detector. They ask him to take off the bag and pass it through by itself. The detector doesn't beep. Taylor walks through, and it goes off. He starts pulling pens and coins out of his pocket (and yes, I know he should've already done this but he never thinks about that, the boy is a walking vending machine sometimes). Walks through again...it beeps. It turns out his iPod was setting it off. We walked into the park, and I looked at my parents and said "Well that's comforting. We're safe from all killer mp3 players, but the knife doesn't set it off." I really would like to know how that darn machine worked.

What a funny story! I have to go through the medical detectors all the time at the courthouse. I set it off EVERY time and they can't figure out why. Thank goodness the Deputies know me since I'm in there almost every day.

Didn't know they had detectors for medicine. :confused3:rotfl:

Hey! I love hearing from new readers. I try to find "Different" things to take pictures of. Where are you guys staying in July?[/QUOTE said:
I had orginally made our reservation for CBR, but then got a great PIN and upgraded to GV at the Poly. The Poly is my dream resort :) so I am very excited!

yippee for being under 2 months. I just hit the under 200 days today! I"m in the 100's now!

Yippee for the "nothing serious" from the doctor!:goodvibes

When I went to the courthouse here, I set it off, which I found weird because I literally had NOTHING metal on. They pulled me aside and did the wand, and it turns out the necklace my boyfriend got me was what set it off. I had literally been through detectors at the hospital two weeks before and it never beeped, and I was wearing it then. I guess it just depends on the sensitivity setting? :confused3

I just noticed my typo. If they had medical detectors, they would have pulled me aside and said "um m'am, we've just detected you have no brain"!:lmao:

The Poly is my dream resort! If my ship ever come in or some long lost relative leaves me money in their Will, I'm all over the Poly!

:cool1: for being under 200 days now! It could even say 199 and I'd still be excited if I were you!

I've seen the Deputies pull people aside and scan them with the wand and don't find a thing. Eventually, they found out that it was the metal rivet things on their boots. Who knew?

When I left off, we had just had our silhouettes done. We reminded each other that we had to come back before the park closed to pick up our silhouettes. I was scared we would forget.

Here's a pic that I took of the kids as we walked down Main Street. Think they were excited to be at the Magic Kingdom?

The picture wasn't as good as the one that I took at Epcot but there were people walking down the sidewalk and I didn't want to be in their way taking pictures over and over again.

Continuing on with our walk:

Usually, we take a right turn at The Plaza, go through Tomorrowland Noodle Station and on to Tomorrowland. This time, we decided to go straight and turn on the "real" walkway to Tomorrowland. Along that path, we saw a Photopass photographer. Of course, I made the family stop and get in line to get our pictures taken.

***Shoot! I thought I knew where the other pictures were on my fourth photobucket account but I can't find them now. So, I guess this is a very short update.

I was just curious. Have you ever run into any of your TR fans either at Disney or elsewhere? We all know your faces and have gotten to know your family so well throughout your TRs, I thought someone must have met up with you somewhere. You know, us paparazzi (sp?) and autograph hounds? :yay::dance3:

AWESOME MK photos!!!!! :thumbsup2 I love the "jumping" shot. You are really making me "homesick" for WDW. :)

Love your pics. I was late to catching up on your trip report, but it really helped us decide to stay at CBR on our next trip.

I only have a few minutes as I am trying to get a little housework done before turning in for the night. We are going to the huge flea market in Canton, Texas tomorrow so I probably won't be updating tomorrow. Just depends on what time we get home which I am figuring will be late.

Anyway enough rambling (like I don't do that all the time ) Guess what? Guess what! Guess what? Guess what!

About a week or two ago, I received an email from The Mickey's Mom Club asking me to enter a contest to host an in-home "What Will You Celebrate" Disney party. Only 1,000 applications were taken. I had to write a little mini-essay about myself and interests and my family. Well, today I got an email from Disney and I was chosen! I almost pee'd my pants!

About two months ago, I helped two of my cousins and their families' plan trips to Walt Disney World. They are actually going the same time as we are. So, I think I'll be inviting them over so we can have a party. I can hardly wait.

I just wonder if this will give me any advantage when they take applicants for the Mickey's Mom Club next year? Wouldn't that be the coolest?!?!Here's a copy of my email from Walt Disney World.

WOOOOOO HOOOOOO Girl, Disney must know we love them. I got my email today and so did Connie  :cool1:. I sure hope it isn't some kind of late April Fool's joke . I have already started looking at ideas for the party.

Congrats!!!!! The way I came into the living room hooping and hollering, you would have thought I won the lottery! It was the only email I read out of about 50. There's a thread somewhere on the Disboards that you can post about your winning and they'll add you to the list. Right now, I think there's about 25 Disboard members who are getting the "red box".

I know that I'm not going to be thinking about anything other than what I can make and do at the party. Poor John and Hunter's ears, I'm going to be talking them off all the way to Texas and back. As if I wasn't Disney obsessed already!:rotfl2:

Congrats on the party!:cheer2::dance3::woohoo: I know you will have a fun party and I hope it helps you to get in the mickey's moms club!
