Good morning from sunny California,
Looking forward to the cruise and the Meet at GC. Is everyone wearing their Dis shirts to the meet on Saturday evening?
Also if anyone is still looking for a shirt I still have a small.
We were also wondering if anyone has ordered the fresh leis from DCL?
Who will be wearing leis on Sunday for embarkation and will they be fresh or the party kind?

Well, a little set back in our cruise plans. Last night my three year old was bit by a dog. One pretty good puncture, on his lower leg. Some fat hanging out, but I got it cleaned up and put in three sutures. Well, today he wont stand on it at all. Off to the pediatrician...

Aww poor little guy. Lots of pixie dust to him.

I am soooo overwhelmed right now. All this packing and trying on clothes is ridiculous. I gained weight when I was in Cleveland and NOT happy. I'm the type that has to clean right before I leave and wash the bedding. I have to work in a pedicure, manicure, bank run, wash the car, the laundry. Make magnets, get FE's ready. Will it ever get done by Wed????

Sandy, I'm feeling exactly the same way. Also have the need to get everything clean and tidy before I leave, not sure why as this time DD is staying home, but still want everything ***** and span. And have the same things left on my to do list as you have.

I swear I would rather pack for anyone but my DH...
I haven't been on the Wonder for quite awhile. Did I read that the staterooms now have docking stations for iPods?

Haven't been on the WOnder in about 6 years. iPod/iPhone docks would be great.

Thanks to everyone who has sent their well wishes for our wedding to us....the wedding was this past Saturday and was A-MAZ-ING!!! We were fortunate enough to have nearly 200 guests at our ceremony---

Congratulations Erik and Jason, you both look so happy. Thank you for sharing your photos, wedding looks fabulous!

I know there are a few people on a waiting list for a HA room. Well my mom tonight sadly had to cancel her reservation. She was in 6647 I think. Regardless it was a HA room. By the way she is fine just her doctor did not want her to go and be in the middle of the pacific. He said any other cruise would be fine. A few things came up this weekend, none of which I am going to post here to respect her privacy. Again she is fine. I hope one of my fellow Disers gets her room.

That's sad. Good wishes and pixie dust.

We fly out to Disneyland tomorrow morning....can't wait to see some of our fellow cruisers on Friday at the ABD excursion....some on Saturday at Disneyland and everyone else on Sunday....

We are flying out on Thursday and I am about 90% packed. My DW is only about 5% packed.(If you consider laying things out part of packing).

I was told could not bring on in Los Angeles. Maybe is different in Hawaii. You might want to call and check.

Thanks to everyone who has sent the information to update the lanyard list. You can view the list HERE (click on link) to see the listings and make sure your names, DIS names and room # are accurate.

If you need changes made, please email us ASAP at dcl.hawaii.lanyards@gmail.com We are hoping to print and finalize the project by Wed. night...so if you delay much longer than that, I cannot promise that we'll be able to make the adjustments to the lanyards necessary.

Also, if you look at the list, you'll see that quite a few people still haven't given us their room #'s. If you are SURE that you'll connect with us to get your lanyards during the DIS meet in the Promenade Lounge at 3pm OR during the Sailaway Party on Deck 10 starboard, then we won't need your room number-----but if you aren't sure you'll make either of those meeting points OR you accidentally miss us and I don't have your accurate room # then I can't guarantee that I will be able to find you to give you your lanyards!! The following list are the folks who are still listed as GTY (or for whom I don't have a room # yet):

Hey all!
---the ceremony had a definite Disney vibe to it since we had a harpist playing an assortment of Disney tunes as guests got seated and she played our processional ("I See the Light" from Tangled), the song that played in the background during our "sand ceremony" ("Someday My Prince Will Come" from Snow White) and our recessional ("So Close" from Enchanted). Our unity candle had an image of Tigger and Roo (our "signature characters") on it. Our friend (Tony Award-winning actor/singer/songwriter, Levi Kreis) was there to perform our wedding song---which he wrote especially for us and recorded to be released on his next CD later this year. There was lots of crying and laughing and it was a very personal and special ceremony. Lots of people told us it was one of the best ceremonies they'd ever been to...so that felt very nice

Congratulations again to you and Jason. The music selection sounds fantastic. Enjoyed the pictures. I knew you would have a fantastic ceremony.

I'm sorry about your mom! Too bad she can't just go anyway.

I'd love to have her room, but if it was 6647, that is an inside stateroom, and we are still hoping for a HA with verandah.

Our Patrick has been very out of sorts and sleeping a lot lately, but he doesn't seem to be ill.......he should fit in just fine on the ship, He's already 2 of the 7 dwarfs....Sleepy and Grumpy. Now if only he'd be Happy too!

Yup she had a inside. Oh knowing her I thought she would not listen to her doctors as she has a very stuboun streak (I think I get that from her), but she is listening them. Now we just have to do the insurance forms and see what they will reimburse. I sure it will be just about everything as it is Dr. orders.

I'll be sailing to Hawaii on the October cruise but I wanted to pop in and wish everyone a great trip! I can only imagine how excited everyone is to be heading out this week for the trip! HELP!​

We have a new 3G I-pad and I cannot figure out how to get mini navigator from my e-mail box to download on the I-pad Can someone give me some instructions? I am so non-technical.....

I hope you have this problem figured out. We have iPad2 and all I did was open the PDF and it is saved in iBook.

Ok all....thanks for all your good wishes and pixie dust. My brother has been released from the hospital and he will be on comiden for the rest of his life. The doctors do not recommend that he travels anytime soon but his wife and wifes sister are both nurses so it is still up in the air. Speaking to him today he leads me to believe he may just do the trip with them bringing a machine to constantly check his blood and levels. Doctors can just advise you and you have to make your own decisions....but if you make the wrong one you have to suffer the consequences....and he understands that.
Again, thank you all again for all your kind words.

I think doctors have to be so careful with their advice just so they can cover their butts if they need to. Sometimes you just have to go with your own instincts. Wishing your brother a safe trip
