I am sure hoping later today. That is what happened in the past. I know when we booked for August last year, it opened during the day. I hope to be able to pop in every hour or so here at work to check. C'mon already!

So.....I've been carefully watching this post for August openings. I really think this would be fun for my DS's birthday (he turns 17 and starts his senior year of high school in September). We are also celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary with this trip. So, everyone tell me .... is this worth it???? The aggravation????? I remember I got up at 6:00 a.m. when my dd was little to get reservations in "the castle" and was thoroughly disappointed. I don't want the same experience.

WE called a bit ago and the hold time was said to be at least 45 minutes...so we thought o my goodness! it must have opened! haha so i called, waited literally 1 hour and 30 minutes, when we usually get straight through, and was told nope! NOTHING! haha talk about crushing news! however, i did get a great CM who told me that a lot of CM's check a way that may not show the right thing so always ask them to check their One Source calendar first. I'll have to keep that in mind.

Its hard to say because everyone has different likes. I personally loved the view and ease of not seeking out a spot ahead and having ppl being pushy while waiting.
BUT I thought the desserts were not all that great. DH agreed. They kids didnt notice(but they also think McDonalds is good)
I also dont think booking needs to be aggrivating. It is just waiting until it opens and making a reservation. DOnt stress about it.

Really don't stress it. When I was waiting for July to open I was only checking once a day. I trusted the good people on this thread would tell me when it was open and they did and I made my reservations for July 3rd and got them no problem. That is why I have come to love this thread because it is everyone helping everyone else it is what the Disboards are suppose to be about. So don't stress.
