Yippee! I have checked and checked and now we have the room that we want for all three days- no changing rooms.

I booked a BC CL Deluxe room with the discount from May 22-25 before our Dream cruise. There will be 5 of us in the room so the Deluxe will be great with the extra space.

We were there a few weeks ago and were as close to Epcot as possible, which was nice if you are going to Epcot. This time we are celebrating our 20th anniversary so besides taking the kids to a water park one day we are just going to hang out at the resort.

I asked for a room close to the main elevators since our main purpose will be the pool/food/concierge club. I believe the concierge room is close to that elevator so just hopping upstairs to go there or downstairs to go to the pool would be perfect. I realize that this is not a guarantee but one can hope...

There are only six of those rooms and all are about the same distance away from the elevators (and club lounge). You can see where they are on the resort map. Room numbers are:
1557 has a patio and lots of windows.
2557 and 4557 have extra large balconies.
3557 has the standing room only balcony.
3691 has both a standing room balcony and a full balcony
4691 has a standing room only balcony.

Just wanted to stop by and say "hi"! Loved being in this thread around our August stay

Might be a while until we are back in the world. Hope things are well and that NM has not been caught or arrested yet

I keep reading about mentions of club level... A couple of questions from a BC newbie:

- what are the benefits beyond having food in the lounge area?
- what is the general cost difference between a standard room vs club level?

Thanks

Anybody????

I order from them all the time and it is delivered by UPS. Therefore, it would go to the Business Center for delivery to you at the BC and yes, they (the Business Center) would charge you even if you go to the business center and pick it up. Their fee is for handling. The only way to avoid the fee is for it to be delivered by the U.S. Postal Service and the Disney Store ships UPS.

So excited!! We are booked at the BC for 8/27-9/7:cool1: we got an amazing deal through *** and will be there for 12 days!:banana:

Can you add me to the BOG list?? Thx!!

We are staying at the Beach Club in 3 weeks! Quick question: we'll have a couple hours of time to kill between check out at 11am and the ME back to MCO at 1pm. What to do? Swim, and clean up/get dressed in the public restrooms? Will we still have access to Stormalong Bay after check out? Arcade? $$$ could go quickly! Stroll the boardwalk? I don't think we'll be hungry enough for lunch since we have a 9am character breakfast. Ideas? Hopefully, with RAC and bell services we won't be hauling around a bunch of bags.

You are officially a guest until midnight. You will still have your magic bands and therefore have access to all the facilities including the pool. However, who knows if it will be warm enough to swim. You should check your bags in with the airline check-in so you don't have to take them to the airport and then give your carry-ons to Bell Services to hold until your 1 PM DME. It usually only costs about $10 to add another day onto your tickets so I'd probably do that and after breakfast head over to Epcot for an hour or two. If you decide to hit the pool, you can use the health club to shower and change.

I'd definitely do the pool. The locker rooms are very nice so you can shower after the pool and be fresh for the Magical Express!

We have packed a separate bag with our "plane" clothes and stored that at bell services while we are at breakfast. We ransom the plane outfit/swimsuit bags from bell services and transfer the small bags to the lockers in the fitness center (Bell services holds the rest of the luggage tht has not gone on ahead for airline check in, like our carry on's lap tops etc...).

We get changed into swim suits, hit the pool, chug buckets of Sunken Treasures in a fit of departure depression and then head to the locker room to get showered and changed back into street clothes. This leaves us feeling rested and relaxed and ready for the insanity that is air travel!

I believe there is soap and shampoo in the locker rooms but I'm not sure what kind. There were towels and wash cloths too but some one needs to check what has been offered in the locker rooms lately.

Just curious...what's ***???

Once upon a time there was a MAGICAL Genie that lived in a lamp. Ninja Mom found this lamp, rubbed it and out popped the Genie. The Genie said I will grant you any wish you would like, and Ninja Mom said "I like to go on VACATION.... Can you help me TRAVEL?" The Genie said "Ninja Mom I know you are up to something but for the life of me I can't figure it out.... but I will grant you a MAGICAL VACATION since you spring me from this rusty, musty lamp. Where would you like to TRAVEL?" Ninja Mom said "Duh Genie! I wanna go to the Beach Club and pester Teena!" The Genie said it was a DEAL and off I went (see ticker below).

The end.

That's all I can 'say'

Has anybody ordered from the Disney Store and had it delivered to the BC? Do they use a courier or regular mail? Will I be charged the extra fee?

When I stayed CL in 2012 they let me ship stuff directly to them for welcome baskets, and there was no charge. If not staying CL I imagine there will be a charge.

Our last trip we went to DTD and did a little shopping, but we took a cab back to the YC to save time. I think swimming would be a pain, but people do that all the time. Taking wet swimsuits on the plane would be the big downside.

As one of those women of a certain age that wears those swim suits that have the foam.... um... well you know, the foam 'areas' that absorb a metric ton of water.... I found that rolling the wet swim suits in a dry towel and squeezing them helps to remove a lot of the water. Then all you need to do is put the suit in a plastic bag and it's not much of a problem.

When wearing one of those suits I am sure to tell the life guards that I have exited the pool and I have, due to my "woman of a certain age" swimsuit, taken half of the water in the pool out with me.... and that they need to fill the pool up again before the lazy river runs dry.

Hi all, need to change my dates just a little. We are only going to be at BC CL June 8-12 now. My husband has decided to join us for the last three night so we have to move to 2 rooms. We choose CBR with the refurbishment, it looks like the rooms are going to be really nice. Thank you.

:wave2:

We miss you! Thanks for stopping by to say hello!

4 days for us! This will be our first time at club level, we will be there for 5 days, but only plan on going to the parks one day. This is going to be all about enjoying the amenities. Will the CMs look at me funny if I partake in more than one glass of wine a night?

:welcome:

I'll put you in as a last minute addition to the Be Our Guest list for January. BC CL?

Have a great trip!

:cool1:

Only if you take your own glass and it's one of those that holds an entire bottle

:rotfl::rotfl2::lmao:

leianne- If you do use a glass like that, not only will the CMs look at you funny, you will be looking at them funny as well!

Not a problem at all!

:thumbsup2

Here is all the info I have gathered about the Deluxe Rooms

Beach Club Deluxe, Suites, VP and Presidential Rooms

Hope you can add to this after your trip!

Special check-in area
Assistance making dining and other reservations in advance of your trip and during your stay (although they don't have better access to the reservations out there than the general public does)
Turndown service

The favorite thing they have ever done for me is sharpen my pencil. Don't laugh! Do you know how hard it is to find a pencil sharpener at resorts?

Check out the post about Club Level on the first page of this thread for more info.

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list for February.

:cool1:

Others have given you some decent suggestions about killing time before your trip. Swimming, Boardwalk, EPCOT, if you have time, you could go play mini-golf at the course near the Swalphin.

:thumbsup2

Will do! That is nice that you will be able to spend some of your trip with your husband.

I'll adjust the list.

You may also be able to get a 1 pm checkout. We were able to do so in December. This way if you are able to swim you can shower off afterwards. You won't want to check your luggage though if you need the liquids packed away before you're shower.

natebanma, we are also celebrating our anniversary on our Feb trip. Thanks.
