'Once Upon a Dream' PTR - May 2014, Hotel New York

Thankfully the boys arent fussy, but buffets would still suit us better *** they're quicker and we don't have to pay for DS2!

I've never been to RFC before, I'm just planning on going *** I think the boys would like the theming :) And eating in the village just before we leave for the airport will suit us.

Meal plan is probably more like this now:

Sunday
Inventions Brunch
Dinner: Annette's or Steakhouse or Manhattan Restaurant

Monday
Lunch: Restaurant des Stars or Blue Lagoon (depending on which park we're in!
Dinner: Auberge De Cendrillion

Tuesday (DS2's birthday)
Lunch: Cafe Mickey
Dinner: Buffalo Bills

Wednesday
Lunch: Restaurant des Stars or Blue Lagoon
Dinner: Inventions

Thursday
Lunch: Counter Service
Dinner: Rainforest Cafe

RFC is fab! Lovely food and kids love the theming!

Will Auberge be open for dinner? It has only ever been lunch when we have been there?

I won't know for sure until closer to the time, but as far as I know it is open for dinner when the park is open late. Closing time is 22:30 when we're there.

It would suit us better for dinner as DS2 won't get a meal there. I can fill him up at lunchtime if we go there for dinner. :)

I had a lovely French lady on the phone, who kept saying 'Alors' :-)
She said I was a pleasure to deal with because I had everything planned :-)
She wasn't 100% certain that the characters would be present at Inventions for midweek lunch, but ill just swap it with Blue Lagoon if they're not.

I can't believe I have ADRs made before getting a passport for DS2! :-O I MUST do that at the weekend. It's a bit of a nuisance as we all have to go to the Police station together to sort it out. :-/

We got my nieces & nephews back in 2 weeks - don't forget the long birth cert!

No characters at inventions for lunch as far as I know. Almost down to 50 sleeps! Need to do ADRs myself.

There's characters at lunch at the moment, until 8th may. after that is not confirmed :-/

Are you making ADRs soon Kizzy?

Oh cool! Must keep it in mind. Real soon I think early next week. Looks like Cali Grill, RFC, La Cantina and maybe King Ludwig's or Annette's. To be changed at least 12 times in the meantime ;)

Lovely plans you've got, and some great meal choices too :thumbsup2

I'm sure you'll love HNY - it's my favourite place :goodvibes

Thanks! I keep dreaming about winning the lotto a d staying at DLH but it will be nice to visit HNY as well. :)

I've been doing a spot of pre trip shopping and u thought I'd share my haul.
I went to the Disney Store in Dublin and was quite restrained!

I've so picked up a few bits for myself.

I kept changing my mind about autograph books but in the end I ordered these on eBay, as they have space for 50 autographs and come with a matching bag.

I also ordered lanyards for them. I think they're a bit young for pin trading yet but I'll buy them one or two pins on this trip and then maybe they can start trading on the next trip.

I'm getting a bit carried away!

Lovely bits and bobs you've picked up. I have my Bambi pjs and nighties in the case too! And the Mickey tees are deadly! :thumbsup2

DD has been pin trading with CMs - "Excuse me, would you like to swap" - since she was 2 1/2! lol Go for it!
