The Legoland Coupons/Discounts Thread!

I read somewhere that if you purchased the B1G1 adult/child tickets they are only good for that day. Is this true? We are going in September and I would love to purchase them now.

Tickets purchased online as print at home tickets are good for 1 year from the date of purchase.

I would like to buy tickets with special rates: Buy one get one free or barbara's cereals -40%. I live in French Polynesia and I need to know if vouchers are required at the entrance with the printed tickets? Has anyone tried without vouchers?
Thanks for your comment!

Do the Go San Diego cards available at Costco get you into the Legoland water park, including the new Chima section, as well as the main park? We're planning to go to the zoo as well as Legoland, so those would be a better deal if they worked, but everything I see just says "Legoland California" without ever mentioning the water park, even the "more details" page on the Costco website.

If anyone knows for sure I would be very appreciative!

There's an additional upcharge fee to have admission to the Water park or aquarium at the Legoland Gate when you use your Go San Diego card for admission. I've copy pasted the relevant info below but here's the link:

Go San Diego Legoland

"Redemption Instructions

Visit any LEGOLAND ticketing booth with your Go City Card for admission.

Admission to the Water Park and SEA LIFE™ Aquarium are now available for only a $15 upgrade fee for each, payable directly to LEGOLAND® California when you arrive. This exclusive upgrade rate is only available with your Go City Card. Please note that toddlers ages 0-2 must pay $3 to visit the water park."

Thank you so much! That's the info I needed.

Hi, all,

Thanks for the tremendous work on this thread.

The Barbara's cereal link wasn't working for me, so it may be expired (I haven't tried all browsers-just Chrome so far).

It looks like the B1AG1A is the best deal for my family of 4, and that one looks to still be active.

If I'm reading it right I can't also purchase B1CG1C at the same time. Or can I? Are these actual tickets I can just walk to the window with?

Basically, I'm just wondering if there is a deal I'm missing. It looks like buying two regular priced child's tickets and the bogo for my husband and I is the best deal, but I'd appreciate a tip if I'm missing something!

We'll just be going for one day-we're spending several in Disneyland and then doing a one day trip to Legoland, mainly for my 9 year old.

Thanks bunches! :)

Hi JacknHanksmom!

You should be able to buy both the Buy 1 Adult get 1 Adult Free for $101 and the Buy 1 Child get 1 Child Free for $91 for a total of $192. These will be emailed to you with barcodes on them. Just print and bring with you to the park. They're valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. Skip the window and head straight to the turnstiles to have your barcodes scanned! Super easy!

I checked the Barbara's links and they're still working ok for me using Firefox and Internet Explorer. You'll save more by doing the above purchase plan though. ;)

Let us know afterwards what you decided and how it went! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much!

I'm in the process of checking out now.....it looks like I end up with two actual tickets instead of four.

So, we can go to the turnstile with the bogo ticket and they'll let both of us in?

Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks again! Much appreciated, and I'll be sure to report back! :)

When I bought tickets last year, I used the Buy 1 Adult, get 1 Child free but I'm presuming that the system is still working in the same way. After you check out, you will be sent an email receipt with the tickets included as a PDF attachment. It should be 2 pages long, one ticket per page. Let me know if that is the case for you, too! :flower3:

This Travelzoo deal seems to offer slightly better prices on the five-day hopper tickets ...

$89 for kids' 5-day hopper, $99 for adults

Sorry I somehow missed seeing your post of this Travel Zoo deal, Coopersmom! Thank you for the info! I'll add it to the OP. :goodvibes

I bought 2 BOGO deals online. Both tickets say "Purchased by:" with my full name. Does that mean my wife won't be able to use the other one, ie do the names have to match? Or will there be no problems? Thanks.

You'll go straight to the entry gate and scan the codes on the paper tickets that you print at home. I don't believe there is any Identification check so there should not be any difference. It may be a way for Legoland to discourage ticket re-selling.

I apologize if this has already been covered, but I'm unclear if previous answers apply to legoland FL. I am thinking of purchasing Legoland FL tickets using that 40% off code. However, I cannot add an option for the waterpark using this method. Is that something I can do once I get there (just add on the waterpark for a fee)? Should I not use this code if we want to also visit the waterpark? Any advice would be welcomed! Thanks in advance!

Hi Sixpack! This thread is for Legoland in California. Some of the discount code links go to a main page that also has tickets available for Legoland Florida or Lego Discovery Centers. Sorry but I don't know the answer to your question. You might check in the Other Theme Parks for Orlando on this board to see if there is a comparable Legoland Florida info thread. You should be able to call the ticket info booth for Legoland Florida to ask your question about the cost of upgrading your ticket to a hopper so you can have waterpark privileges too. :goodvibes
