Characters love selfies too, Mom! A Mom/Daughter Disney Adventure!

I was so excited about the new Festival of Fantasy Parade! We used fastpasses for the parade. The view was great, but a lot of people decided to show up at the last minute and try to shove their way to the front, but we had gotten there about 20 minutes early, so we didn't budge from our spot!

I love that parade!!!! Isn't it great to see the dragon blow fire?
We found that the FP place was quite crowded too. We also got thre right on time for the FP probably 15-20 minutes prior to the parade start and it already was pretty darn full. And then I encountered some rude people who wanted to make sure Grandpa had a spot behind their stroller...the stroller that didn't have kids in them, but taking up preemo space. Grandpa was a wanderer and never even came to watch there...he just kept walking. Luckily the lady next to the rude people let Claire sit on the ground next to them...but the rude people glared at her for doing so. I guess I forgot this vacation was ALL about them.

I got annoyed with the rudeness of the people showing up at the at the last minute, and my DD even told someone that they should have showed up 30 minutes early like we did, if they wanted up front!!

Then, off to Space Mountain to use our fastpass:

Time for some food!! At the Starlight Cafe! I always love going here!
We both wanted the chicken and potatoes, and it was really good!!

Then a relaxing ride on the People Mover:

While on the People Mover, we saw Buzz Lightyear, so when we got off the ride, we hurried over for pics!!

We then went over to Buzz Lightyear ride, with only a 15 minute wait:

And then Monsters, Inc Laugh Floor:

We then made our way back to the castle...

..just in time for another parade!!!

We made our way over to Town Square for pics with Mickey!

We were in for a surprise when it was "talking Mickey"!!

It was neat, and awkward at the same time!!

Time for a treat!

We went to ride BTMR, that had a 20 minute wait posted, but was pretty much walk-on:

We rode Haunted Mansion, with no wait:

And we made our way back around to Fantasyland, and went to:

I wanted to ride Dumbo, so we headed over that way:

I really wanted to go inside the tent waiting area, but the ride was walk-on, so we just passed by that area!

Another treat on our way out!

And we ended up back at Space Mountain, riding it twice in a row, walk on!!

We did a little shopping to end our way at MK!!!

After a long wait for the Disney bus, we finally made it back to Pop!!

I thought it was so pretty at night!

Too cool you had so many walk ons, that is the best. I need to do Philharmagic next trip, I love that.

I've heard talking Mickey is a bit awkward. I wonder how they make that work.

They haven't replaced the Move It, Celebrate It Parade, yet!!
I've tried to figure out the talking Mickey! It's just a little too weird, for me, though. I'd rather meet the regular, non speaking Mickey!!

Thursday, May 8th, 2014: Hollywood Studios



Before starting our day at HS, we had an ADR at Boma for breakfast. We have been there a few times for dinner, but never for breakfast so we were excited to try it!

Then we arrived at Hollywood Studios! (Though we were bummed out as the sign at the entrance said they would be closing at 9:30pm, with only one showing of Fantasmic at 9:30pm!)



So we knew it would be a short day at the park!

Got a few character pics as we arrived!

Went straight for the Animation Building to try to get some relief from the heat!
