January 2015....Let the planning begin!

:welcome:Welcome everyone!~!

Time is ticking away until January and I could not be happier!!! :cheer2:

I is it wrong that I am more excited for January than I am for Christmas? I can't be alone, right?

You are not alone. I agree, totally...although surprising my kids on Christmas is a close second.

I'm excited for both! It's our Christmas gift to each other!

"SingingMom" ....Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

I can't wait till Christmas because it's my favorite time of the year AND it's exactly one month until we arrive at Disney!!!

January 30th to Feb 6th at All Star Music.... with my new fiancé!!!

We decided not to do the DDP. Our reservations so far are at BOG, Narcoossee's, and Afternoon Tea at GF. Not sure where else to eat yet!!

Just requested to join the FB group. We are going January 3-10, staying at POP. My initials are MN.

DH and I going on an adult only trip from 1/4 - 1/10. We're doing a split stay, 1/4 -1/5 at ASMo and 1/5 - 1/10 at Coronado Springs. I opted for the room only discount with an Orbitz code, and will just pay for food OOP.

I'm going to request to join the FB group. My initials are JMM.

Just sent a request to join the FB group! We are going Jan 18 - Jan 23!! Staying at Port Orleans Riverside!!! 75 Days to go!!!!

We just told my dd yesterday!! Her reaction went from smiles to tears to squealing and jumping around for the rest of the afternoon!! She is SO excited to be finally going to Disney, she wore a disney shirt and hoodie to school today while she told everyone (and it's her birthday today too lol)!!

82 Days to GO!!!!!! :)

We are going on our first family Disney trip Jan 19 - 26th. I've been before, as a child and young adult, but it's been a long, long time. Hubby has never been, and our son is 8 and can't wait!

We have a Cars suite booked at AoA (Hubby snores and we like our space!). No dining plan, as it didn't make sense for us.

One day off site at that other park (sorry, HUGE Harry Potter fan and can't miss it!).

Plan so far:

Monday 19 - arrive afternoon, off to Epcot for the evening for a few things and Illuminations
Tuesday 20 - Animal Kingdom, then Magic Kingdom for evening with CP ADR, MSEP and Wishes!
Wednesday 21 - Magic Kingdom full day! Possibly joined by grandparents, will try to make it RD to Wishes!
Thursday 22 - Harry Potter World
Friday 23 - Hollywood Studios, H&V Fantastmic package, might take an afternoon break or come late if we have the right Fastpasses.
Saturday 24 - Epcot day, with Yachtsman ADR for parents and Sandcastle Club for son and then back to catch Illuminations.
Sunday 25 - Hop around the parks to catch what we HAVE to do one last time (hoping this is only two parks to keep the crazy down, but we will see)
Monday 26 - Family pictures taken at our resort, then catch ME at 11.

I thought we would do more special meals, but my son just isn't interested in the character meals (CP is for me!) and I like the idea of being more flexible about when and where we eat. And saving $$!

Just had to bump our dec trip to jan tonight. This is our adult only trip. I am happy that everything worked out except for losing a bog ressie. It was also a little hard seeing the countdown clock go back up, but the bonus is we saved some money:)

77 days left till the pixie dust brings us to AKL for our babies 2nd birthday!! We can't wait!
Still trying for ADR at BOG but hoping for the best something opens up closer to the date.
We are spending the first 4 nights on property but haven't decided where to spend our remaining 3 nights as it's also my DH birthday and he wants to fit some shopping in (I could sleep in the parks and be ecstatic!)
How are the value hotels? Of Disney compared to an off site lake buena vista hotel.

It is getting so close now and there is so much I have to do - yikes!

I do not think I can wait much longer to tell the kids, I do not think I will make it to a December reveal :hyper:
