Tell me about Dole Whips...

I do NOT like to eat pineapple. It's not so much the flavor, I just don't like the texture of the actual pineapple pieces. Do the Dole whips have pineapple pieces in them? If so are they pureed or actual chunks? I know this sounds like an odd question, but as far as flavor goes, they have sounded pretty delicious. I do drink pineapple juice occasionally and love pina coladas. Are they more of a soft serve ice cream texture or a drink? Thinking I may like to try one this trip...

To answer the pineapple chunk question: Nope! Not at all, just creamy, tropical goodness
Dole Whips are like soft serve ice cream that are pineapple flavored. I recommend the vanilla/pineapple swirl, that one's my favorite! And if you like pineapple juice, you can get it served underneath the soft serve like a float

Think root beer float. I like the pineapple juice with vanilla ice cream, there is no pulp in it. The pineapple juice and pineapple soft serve is just too much pineapple for me. Enjoy

Well if you head to Tamu Tamu Refreshments at AK, you can get one with dark or coconut rum added!

There is no true pineapple in it, so there are no chunks. The most recent ingredient list I find (http://www.dolesoftserve.com/prod-info.cfm) shows pineapple juice powder being the only pineapple in it. It's not ice cream or yogurt, either. It's actually dairy free (totally vegan). It's just "soft serve".

You can get them in the Poly and at AK (Tamu Tamu - with the option of adding dark or coconut rum!)
