I just booked mine, too, for Thanksgiving week starting the 19th with free dining. Park hopper or waterparks/more is indeed a required add-on this year, which is no big deal for us. No glitches or problems with the system!!! Good luck to everyone with your reservations today!!!!

I tried to Modify my existing reservation, but I got scared. I am staying at All star music suites but bought DDP (not quick service). Since my modification requires me to upgrade to the DDP, am I better off just calling today? Do you think you can buy an upgrade online? Anyone?

We're going too early to take advantage of the FD but we got the 30% deal! Modified online with no problems. SO happy not have to wait for 3 hours on the phone. Yay!

I think you can. Nothing changes officially until the last confirm page. When I did mine the option to upgrade to delux was on the page where you choose your dining. You would see the price of the upgrade there.

i went to modify the standard vacation package and that's where it showed up. I didn't have hopper to start with but going through check out it gave me the option for hopper or water park or upgrade to both

Going through the check out after selecting free dining gives you the option to upgrade the plan. I just did for myself and parents

YIPPEE!!!! IT WORKED!!! You CAN upgrade to DDP from QSDP online as a modification, FYI.
