Help! Reservations seem impossible to get for Nov 2015

I'm helping some offsite friends book dining and today I tried to book a lunch for them. BOG was unavailable of course, but Grand Floridian Café had only 1 time slot available and that was too early. I really, really think all availability hasn't been released yet. People wouldn't hoard GFC ressies!

I'm hoping that's the case! I was able to get everything I really needed except H&V (No BOG, though, which isn't a need, but something I wanted for me.) SO hoping they release more!

Oh, I've also been checking for openings for H&V regularly. The past few days, dinner isn't even an option on the drop-down menu for times. Has anyone else noticed this? It's weird - I know the park is open until 8pm on the days I'm checking for.

for some reason there is nothing available the week we are going. we even tried to book the first day that dining reservations were open to us to book. i dont know why nothing is available! we are going the week of nov. 16-20, and a lady on the phone with disney dining said that normally isnt a busy week. she wasnt sure what was going on with nothing being available to book.

As I am new to blogging....How does it work on the cancellation thread when they say contact me to coordinate? I have a Brown Derby for Nov 15 at 5:35 for 4 people I need to cancel and would prefer someone who has been looking without any luck grab it rather than someone snatching it their first time logging in.

I've been trying to get H&V for 11/18 or 19, Breakfast or lunch.

I have too and it is impossible!! I have tried splitting up our group and there is still nothing! So frustrating!

I found something for 2 a couple weeks ago, but I didn't take it. Now I almost wish I had with the hope of being able to change it to 4. Ugh. It's so weird! I also can't figure out why they're not offering any searches for dinner on those days anymore. The option was there, but now you can't even search for dinner. I wonder if they're getting ready to do something special there and they just haven't announced it yet?

When I called, they told me there weren't any princess meals available for 4 anywhere, the week of November 16th. It's funny because we picked this week to go since it's supposed to be a slower week.

Same reason we picked. So one of two things: either they are holding reservations back or it's going to be a very packed week. Keep looking multiple times daily though, things always open up.

Once you have 10 posts, you can private message (called conversations here I think). So you would post on the thread that you have a reservation to cancel (note the place, date/time, and number of guests). If you don't need to cancel it to pick up another, you can ask people to message you to coordinate. Someone will message you and you guys set up a time for you to cancel it and they'll be on their account to try to grab it when it comes free. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I lost a BOG reservation because the site glitched after the person cancelled it. The reservation showed for me, I clicked it, then was taken back to the main dining page. By the time I made it back in, it was gone. But it often does work and it's a great way to get reservations.

Thanks Trinity88. Appreciate the reply. Not desperate to cancel at this time. Was just thinking that maybe something someone has been looking for as ADR's in Hollywood Studios for Nov 14 - 21 are scarce. Thanks again.

I just joined to start following the cancellation threads on here. Got many of the reservations I was hoping for but some are still elusive! Hoping that things change and open up closer to our November trip!

Is anyone else having trouble just searching for ADRs? For a week now it will let me search for one date and when I move to the next I get a red error message along the lines of they aren't able to search for reservations at this time. It's beyond annoying! I've cleared my browsing history, tried two different browsers, and on my Kindle and iPad.

We just decided to go for FD Nov 8-14 and I'm regretting the decision immediately upon reading here! Is it really going to be that packed that there are just no ADRs at all? And the online booking system is just miserable. I've never been this frustrated in 14 years of planning trips! I snagged a CM for the night we get there, but that will be OOP since our dining plan doesn't start until the next day. Might have to rethink this and change the trip!

It is our traditional lunch and I've even changed it day or and never had an issue getting it moved--and it is saying not available. Makes no sense at all!!

I signed up for disney dining buddy a few weeks ago and got a text at dinner tonight that there was an 'Ohana dinner reservation available for 11-1 for 5 people I grabbed it!! Worth the $8.00. Very happy!! I've been trying since the 180 day mark!!
