Disney Gift Card Deals

OK found it! I can't see where they mention which Gift Cards you can redeem the 50,000 point for. Is Target one of them? Or Disney or Sams?

I looked in my account and target is available. Many big name stores as well

We're going to Disneyland for 3 nights, and it's just my husband and me...we'll be using the gift cards just for food and stuff. I used cardpool to buy a Target gift card for $210, spent $192.40 ($5 off first order with code New User5). Will use it to buy $250 in Disney gift card ($237.50 after 5% discount) and pay the rest of the balance (27.50). So I'll have saved $30. Not a lot, but every little bit helps!

I closed all my Firefox windows, opened up Paypal, clicked Shop Now, added a $50 Disney Gift Card, but no $5 off. Any hints? Thank you.

The PayPal $5 off does not work for Disney gift cards anymore.

So here is a question now that the target/ebay sale has expired . . . with the $500 Target cards I have, I'm tempted to just go ahead and purchase my Disney GC's. But, even without the ebay discount, you could still continue to cycle and save a little.

Buy $500 worth of ebay cards at Target w/ Redcard discount = $475
Then buy Target cards on ebay for face value (less $6 shipping), earning $10 ebay bucks + $5 on Ebates
Total savings = $34

Why wouldn't I continue to do this given my vaca is a few months off? Thoughts? Trying to decide if its too much of a PITA for only $34??

The only potential snafu is that I believe you are limited to 5,000 in gift card purchases in a 6 month period with a verified PayPal account. Oh and the stress of waiting for the cards and hoping everything goes ok.

I've been using paypal for ages. I assume that means I'm verified????

you can also use movie ticket stubs (its kind of a process but its worth 50 points a ticket) and also CDs. Ive never done a cd though so im not sure what the process is. Also there is the occasional free points they hand out....Ive "liked" the DMR facebook page and they will post 5-25 point entries every once is awhile. usually around holidays. You have to pay attention though because they are only active for short periods of time. Hope you can get some extra points!

OK good. Thanks for the tips! I did a few surveys and earned some. Will watch for the other free points. Will be seeing some of the new movies theaters soon so that's good to know as well.

Thanks! Sounds good. I just applied for another SW card so after that earning period is done I'll get the Citi you mentioned. It doesn't seem to be a limited time offer (the 50,000 bonus points)

Not necessarily. If you want to check, you can look into your paypal profile and it will say if your account is verified or 100% complete.

I purchased my first disney gift card. I used a discount gift card service and saved $3 on $50 then an additional $2.50 with the target 5%. so thats about 10% total savings. I feel like there is more I can do.
I have been on eBay for a long time, I am looking at following your lead there.
Do you have to sign up for something (other than the site) to get the eBay bucks?

Lately it's been really hard to predict. Sometimes they arrive within a few minutes, sometimes hours, other times it takes days. We are still waiting on 3 e gift cards my husband purchased under his account this past Thursday. Meanwhile I've purchased and received 5 in that time. Very frustrating!

Yesterday I went into Target to buy a sick little boy some gifts and his grandma (my coworker) a $50 Target gift card and $25 to Chipotle. I paid with a Target gift card no problem and no questions asked. So maybe buying gift cards with gift cards varies by store?

You only need to fill in the colored areas; the final column is automatically calculated. It'll compute your savings, allow you to track all your GC numbers, and tell you how much you can buy in Disney GC from Target (in $50 increments).
