For entree's Jason was in the mood for a burger so the Burger 'R" Way it was for him.
This was a char-grilled sirloin beef burger with irish bacon, tomato chutney and Dubliner vintage cheddar, which he'd ordered medium rare. Still unsure why he ordered a burger in the face of all the Irish options, but this was a solid burger though a bit overcooked for his liking. The fries were delicious and salty, though we nicknamed them lava fries as they were scalding hot.
For our meal, I got the fish and chips for Casey and I to share.
While you can't see it in the picture there was a lone piece of beer bettered fish in the mix with all those fries. For $19 I'm still shocked there was only one piece of fish for us to share. Had I known I would have ordered her something else. But there were clearly lots of fries for us to get loaded up on. As for the meal, the fish and chips (mine were lava fries too) were good but nothing spectacular. From what I recall I would say that the counter service in England was better. I didn't try the tarter sauce, as I doused mine in copious amounts of malt vinegar. Yum!
