***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

@Candycane83 The menu has changed a little, but we've always enjoyed the mushroom bisque, salmon and cobbler in the past. Pretty sure M has his eye on the buffalo this time. Oh and we've always had the most impeccable service there, even when my niece was young.
That sounds good and I'm glad to hear about the service. Ive heard they can be extremely slow even for a signature and that made me worry. Right now, this is a consideration for my last day... (I have several! hahaha)

Okay, I'm considering changing my plans...AGAIN. I added this to the spreadsheet, but I'm now looking for H&V dinner for Dec 6 for 9 people. I'm holding onto my Dec 5 res in case I can't get it, but figured I throw that out there in case anyone has one for Dec 6 that they might be getting rid of.

Now I am considering adding an additional day at Magic Kingdom on 12/4! Our flight leaves at 6pm so magical express will be like 3pm. We have a 3 year old and a 9 month old and the thought of entertaining them from early EARLY until 3pm sounds like a nightmare!!

I've also been planning our MK day with our party of 11 and I'm sure we will miss a lot and our family of 4 can make up the rest more easily.

But I haven't told my husband this crazy idea...

LOL! That's where i planned to go that morning too!!! 12/8 right! Hahahaha! I was thinking of going to FW playground then WL then uber to Disney springs for lunch then nap! :P I might cut FW playground...

Haha...great minds and all that! You know how there are so many Disney choices and how it's hard to choose? Like...there are certain things you really want to do, but then there are certain things you REALLY :goodvibes want to do? Wilderness Lodge has fallen into that REALLY :goodvibes want to do category for me. :)

Built-in resort/relaxing time is mandatory for us. My DS in particular has asked for that sort of time, and it is really good for all of us to have that I think. While I may prefer the breakfast at WCC, with the pool/resort time priority in mind, I think we'll take it easy until the last lunch slot I could get at 2:20. Maybe uber over (just to be more efficient time-wise?), then boat over to MK. Would like to arrive at MK no later than 5.. Both kids have a Pecos Bills request, so maybe that would work for a late dinner that night.

this is the only resort that I don't really have in my schedule! we have dinner at CR, GF, Poly, and are staying at BWV and AK in addition to the poly. We are going to do Hoop Dee Doo, just wondering if maybe we should stop at WL on the way back or something. or maybe on the way over if we leave a bit early.

I think I made room to visit all the deluxe resorts, staying at Swan and CR then having meals at GF, CR, Poly, BW then passing by AKL, BC/YC and WL... I really want to see all the Christmas decorations! :D

Once upon a time, in a plan far, far...FAR...away, I had that lovely idea to enjoy meals/decorations at nearly all the deluxe resorts. I got distracted by dolphins and stuff though! lol This trip we'll do Boma at AKL, Spirit of Aloha at the Poly, and now WCC at WL. Oh, and we'll be at the Contemporary for Pirates and Pals! Maybe we can squeeze in at least a peak at the GF. That resort is so gorgeous! :) At least we'd have the MK area covered I think?

@BDFmom Your plans look stellar!!

@SilSprBea Hope you are enjoying your vacation!! :flower:

@areno79 Just sending a little  your way.

Thanks to everyone for the Wilderness Lodge reinforcement! :wave2:

It's not crazy! I added 12/4 as extra day on our arrival day too! The cost for our family was total $60 for one more park day, and I thought it was worth it for only a few hours since it would allow us to not pack as much on our other days. Plus that day will be the quietest of the week because it's a party night. And because it's at the end of your trip you'll get good fast passes!

Hmm, for me I would say the two resorts I must see are GF and WL for Christmas ;) I think if you can squeeze GF to see the gingerbread house you should. It looks amazing and I've only seen it in pictures!

Edit: it may be my plan now to see all the resorts but we may skip the other ones if a nap takes precedence ;)

Nice! still hoping Oct 16 will be the magic date as rteez has mentioned!

Personally my prediction is October 24... It's my favorite day in October. It's DD'b B-Day. :cake:

Walt Disney World debued the first Fireworks show, Fantasysy in the Sky Spectacular, in MK on October 24, 1971. It would be a good date for ROL to debut. That would be plenty of time for our group to fit it into our plans.

It all falling into place. Your family is going to have a great time! The resorts are all so beautiful during the holidays.

Our first night we'll have a chance to see the contemporary.
'Ohana night we'll get the indulge in the beauty of the Poly. We'll probably take the boat from MK.

The afternoon before our MVMCP we'll spend some time at GF. On our Safari night we'll see Kandi Lodge.

Maybe squeeze in the Boardwalk one night after Illuminations and Uber home.

It's all going to be fantastic! I can't wait to breathe, relax and enjoy it. :flower1:

The tree in the GF is amazing!!!! I have great pictures from our last trip. The ginger bread house smells DEVINE.

It's all a becoming so real!! :cloud9:

You know you're an adr hoarder when.....

... You're holding onto a few adrs for the same place, same day, but all within 15 minutes of each other.....
.....you've purchased your mvmcp tickets, you've purchased MK EMM tickets, and you're STILL holding on to that "plan c" JUST in case for some reason you won't actually end up being at MK on those days.....
..... You're staying at the poly and have a Kona breakfast reserved for nearly every. Single. Day of your trip because you have visions of your family being brutally exhausted and no ones getting to a park that day.....

Guilty, guilty, and guilty

EDITTED: ....and... You just can't stop the incessant searching for more adrs, even though your plans are perfect the way they are.... You don't need to get them, you just need to see if you CAN get them...:smickey:

Hi everyone,
i have a BOG dinner I'm going to cancel. Figured I'd put it here first then the cancellation thread if no one here is interested.
It's for 12/15 at 6:20pm for 4 people. This is a party night but you don't need party tickets for this ADR.

I managed to snag a 4:20pm BOG last night!!!
Wooohooo!! Congrats on snagging that!!
