I received an email today with an offer for up to 30% off this summer, but there is no 8-digit pin anywhere in the email. I think I'm doing something wrong...anyone else have this problem

No, actually this email was an exclusive offer specific to the PIN code. Disney forgot to include the code in the email. They send these out from time to time. The code can only be used by the account it is sent to.You are doing nothing wrong. It just an advertising mailing. Anyone can get that offer without a pin when they book.
I used to get Disney Destination emails, but I don't think I have now for a while.
I have had the same error several times in the past. If you call and give them the PIN it can be booked and discount appliedI also had the same two emails... I thought I was home free when the update arrived, but now it is telling me my postal code doesn't match what they have on file... lol!
I've tried with and without the space. I've tried my former postal code even though I knew my most recent trip was taken from my current address. I checked my info on my MDE and it matches what I've been entering, so I guess I'll just call tomorrow. Never a dull moment...
