Adam the Woo Banned from Universal

I love Adam and his videos. While I'm sad that he won't be at Universal for at least the foreseeable future I completely understand why he was trespassed. I'm a former team member and I've seen first hand how seriously UO takes stuff like backstage photos and video. Lesson here, don't go where you're not supposed to. And don't film it/put it on the internet if you don't want this kind of thing to happen. As for me however, I'll keep watching his channel every day.

I have got to where I really enjoy a few Youtube Vloggers including ATW. I watch the Trackers every day and Adam is often around or along with them. If you watch the video on the day he got banned you will see that he completely gets why they did it and owns up to it. He has changed how he does things so I do feel bad for him since those videos were posted so long ago.

I agree...maybe he needs to find a real job since he apparently keeps getting into trouble with what he's doing now.

I'm sorry -- I tried to figure this out by watching the video and since I am not familiar with him I must be missing something -- but what did he do that got him banned? Did he jump a fence to a secure area to get that film footage? I can't get the sound to work on the video, so can't hear what is being said. Thanks.

It's unclear what, specifically, got him banned. A few years ago he snuck around backstage at Universal and posted videos of that; it may be one video or the totality of all of his backstage videos, I don't know. I remember one where he was in an abandoned attraction, going through doors, sneaking around construction equipment. There were exposed utility lines, a whole bunch of bad stuff. The whole time I watched the video I was thinking, "Dude, get the [heck] out of there, you're going to hurt yourself or get sent to jail!"

I thought the video that got him banned was the one of him sneaking around in the old Nickelodeon sound stage? Someone let him though, you can clearly tell that someone unlocks the door for him. But once he is inside he takes footage of everything that was left inside.

He kind of implies there is more to the story you don't see in the original videos. I take that to mean someone from universal was either with him or let him back there but he hasn't said and I wasn't there so what do I know?

He has also stopped that whole abandon "building" exploration thing around the time he got banned from Disney. So I think he realized he had to change what he was doing and did. Whats odd is he says in the video description on youtube he has been there numerous times and has had an annual pass the whole time so they must not have been looking very hard for him.

It'll be interesting to see how it plays out, I'm sure adam could stir up the original unedited footage as a last resort but we'll see where this goes.. really crappy timing. I wonder if this was someone checking to see if they should get him on the vlogger/press list that noticed or just security being heightened for the all the celebrity in the park that day.

Adam brought attention on himself by yelling out loudly getting The Rock's attention and probably many other people as well. If you go back and watch his or Spokesmaynes video from the Fallon Universal day video, you'll notice it's all quiet when he screams out a catchphrase.... Which did in fact get Rock's attention.

Just my assumption.

There's so many theories. One rumor was security was up with celebrities in the park and they recognized him, one could be publicity stunt on either his or universals part, one could even be they're cracking down on that. Considering he never took the videos down does say something interesting about this situation. I liked his videos and think for five years later this is extreme but he did technically trespass and proved it

I love Adam, but not again first from Disney World and now from Universal. Hopefully he gets a lawyer like he did for Disney. He's an awesome guy.

He's an awesome guy who intentionally trespasses onto properties that he KNOWS he's not supposed to be on. When you knowingly do this, you know there is the chance for repercussions.

I figure Universal has been looking for him, and when he yelled at Dwayne Johnson it drew attention to himself and someone said, "Hey, that guy looks like Adam".

Now, don't get me wrong, I've been watching Adam's videos for years and like them. However, every time I watched one I knew if he got caught he'd be in trouble. He did too.

Adam has changed his style of videos over the last year or so and doesn't seem to push the trespass thing quite as hard as he used too. Maybe he really is sorry, or he just said it to try and avoid any further charges. Either way, he's aware now they won't play easy with him if he tries it again.

If you listen to his video on where he talks about being banned, he states that he was not alone, so he's hinting that he had somebody escort him around and he edited that person out of the footage.

He has more to lose now, When he started his videos he was living out of his van. He now has a subscriber base and very nice Patreon, Tee shirt sales etc.

I watched this latest video where he states that there was more to the ban than the video itself and that he understands why he was banned. What he seemed surprised by was that the ban was indefinite. He knows what he did and why he was banned but he hasn't shared the details. What we have is pure speculation.

lol.......no hate here from anyone, not sure where you are getting that from.

Maybe some common sense comments about someone who thought it acceptable to go where he wasn't supposed to and was caught.

No sympathy for the guy at all........he may be a nice guy, I have no idea as I`ve never met him, but anyone who trespasses should then and rightly so, face the consequences.
