Pirates & Pals Fireworks Cruise

Looking for your opinions - we plan to do the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Cruise during our trip. My thought was to do the cruise on our last night to see the fireworks for the last time and to make the last night special. We will be attending MNSSHP earlier in the week, so we will get to see the fireworks in the park. Those who have done the cruise, have you done it at the start of your week, the middle or the end? Also, the night of our cruise I have dinner reservations at Be Our Guest at 4:25. Do you think we will have enough time to be seated, eat, M&G the Beast, and walk to the Contemporary Resort to check in for the cruise by 7:45?

I think you will have plenty of time. One issue you may run into doing the cruise the last night is that you may be tired out from all of the fun you had earlier in the week. We did the P&P cruise last summer and there were a LOT of sleeping kids on the boat! My family has previously canceled ADRs on our last days and opted to chill at the resort instead.

i think we did our Pals cruise in mid-week. Timing of BOG and the cruise shouldn't be an issue or problem at all. I think its a fun relaxing way to enjoy your last night of fireworks. :)

You should be fine !! We never miss it !!! It's our absolute fave thing to do at WDW --- we find it very relaxing, and the adults like it as much as the kids ---- we usually book a 5pm at the "Wave" --- ( but you will have plenty of time from "BOG" ) --- since it's already at the Contemp ( and our new fave restaurant ) -just booked yeaterday for 7/15
Enjoy !!

We kicked off our trip last week with PNP and it was awesome. Reports are saying that Hallowishes will still run this year, so you will actually get to see two different fireworks shows.

We liked seeing Happily Ever After from the water, and then again later in the parks to see more of the images from the castle.

Our PNP cruise night will be a MNSSHP night, so we will get to see Hallowishes from the water and inside MK when we attend MNSSHP earlier in the week. We are hoping to be able to see Happily Ever After on a non-party night. The week we are going is the week of Columbus Day. Are the non-party fireworks always at 9:00 p.m.? I have 'Ohana booked at 6:55 that night and wondered if that would be cutting it too close to get from Poly to MK in time for the Happily Ever After fireworks at 9:00. We may just have to watch from the beach at Poly.

P&P cruise better on an MNSSHP/Hallowishes night or HEA night?

If it's your only chance to see HEA, I'd watch HEA inside the park due to the projections and other effects. If you have other opportunities to see both shows, not really sure that the show you see from the P&P cruise matters. We've done it twice, once for MNSSHP and once for MVMCP.

We did it on our last night and were exhausted. If we do it again, or any cruise or later evening activity, we will do it mid-week. We get worn out. Our second trip I enjoyed sitting by the pool watching the kids play in the water for our last night, eating appetizers and having a drink.

I just realized you said only other time you'll see the fireworks are at MNSSHP. That will be Hallowishes and different than HEA. I personally wouldnt see HEA on a boat since you'll be missing all the projection part of it. :)

The week we are there, there are 4 nights of MNSSHP, so we will do the cruise during a MNSSHP. I only have one night to see HEA in the park, so I hope we get finished at 'Ohana in time to get to MK for the fireworks. I hope they might change fireworks from 9:00 to 10:00 that night!

How far are days released for the Pirates and Pals Cruise? I am looking for 1st week in January. sometime from Dec 30 to Jan 8th. Just not sure what days it operates?

oh boy ..pirates and pals cruise..... the meeting of hook and crew beforehand is good.... food isn't up to much but the character interaction is excellent. You then get split into two groups and head out to the boats.....hook and co don't come with you. Each boat has a pirate ..... ours was rubbish... he just wasn't engaged with the kids so most of them fell asleep. The fireworks are good if you are seated on the correct side of the boat. You can't really see the castle projections so with the new show might be an issue. The cruising bit was a bit naff (probably due to having a dull pirate who wasn't piratey enough grrr) but upon disembarking peter pan was lying in wait and that part was fantastic - saved the night for us if |I'm honest. Overall - some good bits some poor probably on balance wouldn't do it again but glad we gave it a go.

Total agree that your pirate can make or break this event. We have been fortunate enough both times to get the better of the two

I just wish there was a set schedule to follow. I don't want to screw up making our dining reservations to find out we get Be our Guest on the only night we can do Pirate cruise, for example

We have Pirates and Pals scheduled in a few weeks and I'm so torn on whether or not to keep it. I was planning on this being one of the highlights or our trip, but now that HEA involves so much projection on the castle, I just can't decide on whether or not to keep it or not. We don't have park hoppers and I'm not sure we will make it to HEA on our second mk day (we have an 8:00 bbb appointment and the next day ak opens at 8:00). My girls won't do good with too many late nights, early mornings.

Does anyone have any idea when the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Cruise will be opened up for October? It looks like the cruises are available through the end of September, but not for October yet. I've been waiting . . . patiently, but nothing yet. I'd really like to get our tickets and have this nailed down!

i wish there was consistency for things like this, I have had a cm tell me on the 180 day i can book it but that brings us to Christmas, and dates are only open through September. sigh. hopefully it will all be updated soon

At 90 days-Call 407-939-7529-Scheduled 1 hour prior to time of fireworks (with 10 minute arrival before start time, so 1 hour and 10 minutes)-at least 2 days prior to cancel.
