Garden Grill - Breakfast or Lunch/Dinner?

Hi!

We are heading down in September, and I'm making some lists for when our ADR window opens in a few weeks. We have never done GG and want to try it this trip. I've looked at the menus but can't decide! For those of you who have eaten both "Feasts", which do you prefer?

We are doing breakfast for the first time this summer. Had dinner there a few years ago and enjoyed it.

We’ve only done breakfast but we loved it! It was one of our favourite meals that trip so we’re doing breakfast again next month.

All are good options - its our only ADR we wont go without, we usually do lunch or breakfast - if you do lunch make sure Mission Space is beforehand!

Mostly now we get a PPO for breakfast with the advantage of Soarin with no queue.

One of my kids is a grazer and tends to eat small amounts regularly throughout the day. Would it be weird to take some cinnamon roll with us (what was left, not ordering a new one just to take with us)? I typically view all you can eat type places as a no-no taking food to go, but there is part of me that says I am paying $$$ to eat there, might as well take some bread with because she will be hungry again a half hour after we leave. Too tacky?

PPO GG is a must now for an Epcot day! That cinnamon roll is amazing! Really all the breakfast choices at GG are great. Fun to spin, and visit with the chipmunks! And the bonus of Soaring with very little queue!

We LOVE dinner at GG and it is always one of our must do meals on each trip. Breakfast does look great though and that is on my bucket list, so I think whichever you choose will be great. We just really love the food at dinner.

Both are really good, but since they started offering breakfast that is now our preference so my vote is breakfast.

We prefer breakfast. But just so you know, if you do go for dinner you can still get the POG (I don't remember the current name for it) juice.

We had not been there for many years, had lunch when my daughter was 3. We did Breakfast our last visit with DD18 and DD21 to get to Soarin. It was so good, and to be honest, we had to rush to get to Soarin, because we were enjoying it that much. I think we would have stayed longer otherwise. We were 4th on the ride and when we got off we got on again 15 minute wait. The food is great quality. We loved all of it. We are going this December, and will be doing it twice, breakfast and then lunch/dinner, whichever one we can work in with the Candlelight Processional. Character interaction is wonderful, I am an older mom and Mickey came by and took me by the arm and walked me around the whole restaurant. Made me feel special. Can't say enough about this place. But to answer your question, depends on what meal your family likes best.

I haven’t been to GG yet but I’m planning to book breakfast on the basis that I’ve only ever heard good things and the short walk to Soarin’ although I do worry that I’ll spend to long eating all the tasty food and miss the short Soarin queue :earboy2:

We’ve only done breakfast but we loved it! It was one of our favourite meals that trip so we’re doing breakfast again next month.
I agree with this. I too have only done breakfast, and it was fabulous. Im doing it again on my next trip! The food is so good! And the characters....just too cute. :)

We've done breakfast and dinner. Both were great. The breakfast is now my favorite one on property.
