Disney & Ultimate Rewards saying:
I did get confirmation from someone in Cruise and Tour that this would be permanent.
"I do apologize it is going to be a permanent change as far as we know. Chase has a Disney credit card I guess they are trying to make sure they are used. This changed just last week."
Not sure how official, but sounds like it is not a temporary systems update.
This is a situation to continue to monitor but that response sounds bleak. Of course yesterday
@Albort shared a very different comment that was made from somebody on a throwaway reddit account stating:
I work in the travel industry as a software engineer and right now Disney is undergoing a huge revamp of the system they use to let external companies make bookings with them and it's causing issues with a lot of companies. I would wait until about mid-October to see if this is truly a permanent change.
