I like the idea of meeting soon at Disney!!
Ha! We did a LOT of DISing you yesterdayThat's DISing you. That's okay.
Terrible? I'd say dreadful is more accurate (was that believable, @pkondz?)Oh, it was terrible. Just terrible. Right Tracy? (psst…. @Tracy161 , just go with it.)
Yes, what he said And now that said, I hope you're doing better and better and that PT is helping!Well next time, don't break body parts and join us!
His drink is girlier than mine!
lol I have no idea but that's a cute magic shot! I haven't seen it beforeShading Chip from the sun. Why does Chip get an umbrella?
I would definitely see Tiffany, as you said reliving my jr. high daysTiffany was great - she looked amazing!
I wasn't overly excited to ride this earlier this month but I love it! VERY pleasantly surprised and I know the boys are going to enjoy it, too. Also as a non-SW fan the sneak peek into Galaxy's Edge is neat.Back at DHS, back in Toy Story Land and finally we get to ride Slinky Dog!!
Hmm, this was......just ok. I actually did get dizzy but I totally can't do spinny rides at all so I knew I was taking my chances, but it's definitely cute for those who will not feel as if they want to vomit when they exitThis ride is exactly like Tomater's Junkyard Jamboree in Disney's California Adventure. It's really cute, you kinda get spun around, but it's not that dizzying, or at least not as much as you think!
It was our 2nd day of vacation! That's like the best day of a trip because you're over the first day excitement and fatigue, you're reared up and ready to go and you still have the rest of the trip to look forward to, hehe.
And then they saw our shirts and proceeded to do some Karate Kid style hijinks. It was so cute.
OK so, our ride through SE was very different. I couldn't place it at first, but then I realized, the lights were on! It wasn't exceptionally bright or anything, unlike Space Mountain with the lights on, but everything was just illuminated better.
apparently only my picture registered and not Steves.
We decided to make the stop at Festival Center so that Steve and I could pick up our AP magnets. I love love love the Chef Mickey theme!
Since we had Ohana tonight, this was all Steve was going to eat that afternoon since he's all about Ohana's shrimp and doesn't want to fill up the rest of the day, haha.
Hopefully there will be wedding bells soon because I want to go to a Disney wedding!
Oh I've had that! So painful. The exercises worked though.
I haven't eaten at Teppan Edo since we had a less than stellar experience back in 2010. Yours looks really good though!
That's awesome! I didn't notice that when I was there the week before.
It is so cute... nothing I would wait more than 15-20 minutes for but very cute!
haha........memorize the schedule!
We did! We even talked about you.
Well, Tracy was all dissing you and...
No. Wait...
oh.
That's DISing you. That's okay.
Oh, it was terrible. Just terrible. Right Tracy? (psst…. @Tracy161 , just go with it.)
Well next time, don't break body parts and join us!
So I'm finally over here at this trip report, too!!!
So jelly that you saw Tiffany but watching that video....did she mess up part of the words at the beginning? I only ask because I was singing along too
Ha! We did a LOT of DISing you yesterday

Glad they could switch your room, even though the view wasn't fantastic! Views are great to have but I'd pick a not exciting view over an accessible room mainly because, as a family that doesn't NEED that type of room, I find the bathrooms don't work for us as it wouldn't work for you.
That's like the best day of a trip because you're over the first day excitement and fatigue, you're reared up and ready to go and you still have the rest of the trip to look forward to, hehe
complete with matching hair clip:
Obviously Steve and I were prepared to meet a certain Crazy Dis Asian...actually the ORIGINAL Crazy Dis Asian, LOL.
all gangsta-like.
it was flavorfull but I would prefer less sauce as then it'll be easier to pick up and eat.
The roof of the temple is just gorgeous.
And then they saw our shirts and proceeded to do some Karate Kid style hijinks. It was so cute.
OMG! These are hilarious! How many times do they get to do this? Seems kind of random but they clearly had the moves down! Joy and Sadness are so fun to meet. But it is a slow moving line for sure!
I wish you could meet all of the emotions. I feel like Fear and Anger would be a lot of fun too.Always a fun duo to meet.
I am surprised they were even letting people on with the lights on. Disney usually does not like people seeing that stuff! Also, the guy in the boat.... I always think he looks like Ron Swanson from Parks & Rec.OK so, our ride through SE was very different. I couldn't place it at first, but then I realized, the lights were on! It wasn't exceptionally bright or anything, unlike Space Mountain with the lights on, but everything was just illuminated better. We wondered what had happened.
Looks like you left Steve for an old blue haired woman!
Ha! Too funny!
She is dedicated!Chunkysis obviously went to go wait for Mexican Donald...but she waited a good 20 mins before he came out.
Ohhhh!!! I need to know, so I can not get it when we are there!Coming up...the worst thing I ate during Food & Wine...
I had this happen on our first trip to DL, but I had organzied mine in a mini M&Ms tube so the TSA agents were really confused about what they were seeing on the scannerWe got to the airport, checked in and headed to our gate. We all have pre-check so we go through the expedited line but of course my SISTER gets stopped during security and they have to check her bag because of her rolls of PENNIES and QUARTERS. Steve of course made fun of her and CS just tossed her hair in return. #whyamInotSOLO
Ha, Zack asked on our last day that weekend why we didn't go over thereActually I think it's because we couldn't wait to see Toy Story Land so our first stop HAD to be DHS, right?
This happened to us too! We upgraded our tickets at the waterpark on that Saturday, and realized later. So on the way back we stopped at AK (since we did Blizzard Beach and had to transfer there anyways) and got our cards, plus TIW.We arrived at DHS and we had to go to the ticket counter to activate Steve's AP. Once we did that, we were good to go, but Steve only realized after he went through the turnstiles that he never got an AP card! They just said ok and waved him away so it was activated but he didn't have a card to show people to get AP discounts and stuff. I guess he could just have pulled it up on his phone but that's too cumbersome. He went to get a card from Guest Services later on.
Zack has never been to this type of restaurant. I'm hunting for a good one around Denver to go to. I mean, I haven't been a lot, but we had one in NE we went to occasionally for birthdays and such.Overall it was a fine meal at Teppan Edo but it was too bad I didn't enter it with the same gusto as I normally would have. The service is always top notch there and they are so sweet and friendly that I always have a good time when we dine at the Japan Pavilion.
Everyone had the same idea!Which was convenient for us as then we went to the DVC lounge! We filled up on liquids and got some snacks but it was very crowded so barely any space to sit!
I am always sad with that set up for the same reason... I mean, with just us in the room I could totally go in there when Zack is in the shower and it'd be fine, except that he takes THE HOTTEST SHOWERS KNOWN TO MAN and the mirror is fogged up for forever. Actually we had this problem at the Dolphin last week - the sink was in the bathroom, and then they had the second vanity where the coffee maker is? That mirror would fog up too when he opened the bathroom door after a shower!you can see how the sinks are enclosed with the rest of the bathroom.
I wish we had gotten these. We tried some at Friar Nooks and they were pretty good - the fiesta ones. These Totchos were quite tasty and I enjoyed them a lot! Only gripe was that the tater tots could be cooked a tad longer so it's crispier but it all tasted great like an Americanized poutine LOL.
I wasn't too impressed with Woody's lunchbox... I was excited because I feel like I read a lot of good reviews of the food, and we had sandwiches, tater tots, the pasta salad, and the chocolate tart. I don't think we'll be back, and not just because it was a million degrees back there and hard to find a table.OK this looked better than it tasted. It's a little better than a pop tart but not really. I expected a crust with better texture and I didn't get it. My sister was just so excited it had jam in it! Jam is one of her her favorite foods, LOL. I was done with about 2 bites. Next time I may try the other tart just to see how it compares but probably not for a while.
Zack always asks too! He'll be looking at wait times in the app, and be like, when's our next FP/ADR? Why don't you look, you're already in there... it is even on the main page!I forgot to mention I already got asked 6 times today "What time is lunch?"
Maybe I shouldn't let them back in until they memorized the schedule.
Better than our guy... checking in at 11pm... let me find you a good one, let me go in the back to see if this room is ready... we're thinking, they saw our anniversary note on the reservation! Nope, we get up there and here is your roof view! As Melinda put it:After 20 very long minutes of "we are currently very full at the moment" and "let me see what I can do" and "let me speak with my manager for a bit" and a lot of clickity-clack on the keyboard, we were able to be moved from the accessible room to a 1st floor standard room very close to the Marketplace. Yay!
"HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! We thought you'd be too busy with your romance to look out the window anyway"
Yes!Steve and what I have now come to know as Space Jesus (Thanks to @pepperandchips!)
Wait until you see my lovely photo...We were also stuck in certain areas of the ride as it wasn't moving, nothing new as it's happened before but it happened like 3 times for long pauses. The TV screens still worked but apparently only my picture registered and not Steves.
I love the magnets! These themed ones are so cute! I wanted the F&G ones so bad last year. I also told Zack, as we were getting our magnets and cutting boards, that I would have been happy with just magnets last year instead of the buttons. We decided to make the stop at Festival Center so that Steve and I could pick up our AP magnets. I love love love the Chef Mickey theme! I also remembered that it was our 2nd visit to Epcot and on our 4th visit we could get the coveted Mickey cutting board!
Zack will be very impressed with your ONE efficiency point I swear his goal is max power, minimum efficiency every timeWe made this crazy little truck, unfortunately not as much power as I would have liked.
We had that trouble too. And a lot of trouble with different rides linking the wrong ride photos... TT, Splash, Space, RnR coaster...Sad reality about TT now is that it always is either down, or the system isn't functioning properly so our car we designed didn't register on all the results screens. What is the point of designing your own car then? Might as well do single rider and be done with it. This time, our ride picture didn't come out so we have someone else's random car picture on our account, LOL.
We finally went in Labor Day weekend to see, since we finally watched the FIRST Avengers movie. We're very behind. When we passed Norway I had to show Steve the Stave Church which has a display on Norse Gods. Steve's a huge fan of Thor so we had to check it out.
Aww that's adorable! I love this meet.
Woah!! Weird!!! And so strange about the water leak...
Nice blue hair, Steve!
I love these! I wish we'd been there during the festival to get them. Super cute!
Steve is definitely serious about his Ohana!
Highly recommend.
1. I'm so behind
2. I want to watch that movie again now
They should've said "Mulan couldn't make the 1:00 schedule because she was fighting the invading Huns"
Oh my gosh how did I not know you were working on this TR?! Thank goodness (or ermmm thank Space Jesus?) you tagged me... now I get to binge and catch up
Your sister's dress is so adorable!
Sounds like a fun Epcot morning! The pics with Joy & Sadness/Mulan are all so nice!!
I thought I had quotes! Why does the DIS keep eating my quotes!!!??
Love all the tasty things you tried so far! I should not have read this report before having breakfast...now I'm starving!
I have considered clips from this seller before...I like seeing it actually in CS's hair to get an idea of what they look like in real life.
All that's missing is the slow-mo walk with the fiery explosion in the background!!
It looks good but messy...there were several dishes in the past I wish they'd have thought through a little more in terms of portability.
I usually take 50 billion pictures of the China pavillion b/c it's one of my favorites. So far the ceiling has eluded me...now it's a goal!!
So is meeting Mulan - I always miss her!!
It looks like you guys are having so much fun. You take the best pictures.
Hii!! Just tuning in here and to the Wine and Dine '17 trip report! Love them both. I really love all the coordinated outfits You all look great! Last time I was in Disney World I under estimated how cold it could be in February (I mean I come from Canada so I figured Florida HAD to be warmer) so all I packed were summer clothes, and one really ugly hoodie. I ended up having to wear that hoodie all day everyday, and that is ALL that is in my photos. So my next trip, I plan to be colorful and coordinated everyday all day! Can't wait to hear more.
I had this happen on our first trip to DL, but I had organzied mine in a mini M&Ms tube so the TSA agents were really confused about what they were seeing on the scanner
