We generally don't suggest our clients do online check in and we do have some clients get upgrades. That doesn't necessarily mean anything, but even agents that have gotten upgrades don't do online check in and I never do, either. Again, I've never seen 100% confirmation that doing it equals NO upgrade but I do think NOT doing it is betterI wonder that too. I have a few theory's on what helps to get the room upgrades. I really wonder if not doing online check in helps. I am also guessing that the shorter the stay the easier to get an upgrade?
I can't remember exactly but they're some type of key lime tart. I'm not a key lime fan - except for the pie at Citricos lol, so I didn't try them but yes, they're adorable! What are those? Those are so cute!
That could be! I definitely think VIP's stay there, there's only the Walt suite which is comparable to the Roy and then the Grand suite that's bigger and I know John Stamos stays at the Grand when he visits Disney lol. So it's possible it was a SW personI wonder if the occupant before you was a huge star wars fan OR even someone that was there for something FOR the new Star Warsland! I mean that suite WOULD warrant people of THAT level! I think you should make a whole "story" about what that book is there.
Is she in his wedding? I think, judging by Ricky of course, that she'll be fine by 6 weeks to attend. If she's in the wedding I think she'll still be fine, but will just have to be able to sit often; like up until she needs to walk down the aisle and right after the ceremony is over. I agree with the 2 weeks after surgery, that's about right. Ricky's had the surgery twice and the first time he attempted going back to school 5 days later - NOPE. The 2nd time was July so no school, but he didn't leave the house for 12 days and then that was only for his follow up appt. Is her scholarship academic or athletic? Thanks. Hopefully within 6 weeks she will feel well enough to be in her brother's wedding. It's 6 weeks after her surgery. The doc said to expect not to feel like doing anything fro two weeks after surgery which will be hard for her. I don't think she realizes its not just a quick recovery. Hopefully it won't interfere with her semester at college after wards either, If it does she may lose her scholarship unless we can get it deferred to the next semester. She has already informed her boss and thankfully they are great to work for so she knows she will need at least a month off.
That's great her boss is working with her! It's such a crappy injury that she doesn't need any more stress added right now or during recovery.
I hope you do!One day I might get to stay at GF, it's one of my three dream resorts.
We've stayed at both; you might know WL is my absolute favorite and I'm so excited that we're now spending the last 3 days of our trip next month there I do love AKL and it WAS my 2nd favorite resort, until this stay at the GF lol. Even if we didn't get upgraded I think it would be in 2nd place. The other two are Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge. We are actually getting to stay at Wilderness Lodge for our 25th wedding anniversary trip next September. I'm super excited!
Aw, I'm really glad you're enjoying it so much! I'm having tons of fun reliving this tripThis just may be the best trip report ever!
AP is (was?) so good! I shall miss it Mostly my soup lol, so my fingers are tightly crossed it doesn't disappear from the Territory Lounge menu.........Sounds like a lovely night at the Artist Point! Everything looks great!
Hey, isn't your next trip over Thanksgiving week? Will we be there the same time, our dates are the 17-25th!
I HAD to try it because of all the love it gets here on the boards. Even though I don't like actual mushrooms I don't mind the flavor so I thought I'd be ok and man was I right! I hope it's still on the TL menu for both of us!I want that soup, it looks so yummy and if a non mushroom lover, “loves it” it has to be good! I hope to try it in May if they still have it at the lounge.
Um yeah, I've NEVER been able to do a cartwheel so I would have ended up in the ER and that would have sucked during this upgraded tripYep, I probably would have tried this, thinking I was still a teen and physically fit...That would have been a VERY BAD choice...
The menu looks much better than I thought it would, it's just that based on the food I've had at character meals in the past I don't have high hopes. Some are good, like GG and Tusker House but the last two we did in May - 1900 dinner and Crystal Palace - sorry to say we thought the food was disgusting I was afraid the food here would be on that level so hopefully since it isn't a buffet it's good. That won't make me any happier lol but at least I won't mind having to eat there in October on my FAM trip!We have an ADR for Snow White in March mainly for Kathy though the new menu does look appealing.
Coming up nextWow what a heavenly master bedroom can't wait to see your master bath and dressing room.
