Wait....they didn’t used to have pay at the pump gas? Lol
Wait....they didn’t used to have pay at the pump gas? Lol
I'm still waiting for my 10 on the same offer. Still waiting for them to "investigate." My back up plan is just to cancel pay over time and wait for them to extend the offer again.Add me to the list of people who now live by the mantra “Amex is dead to me, I’m rocking with Chase”. Last December, I was targeted via mail for the 10k pay over time offer. I signed up on December 2 and still don’t have my points.
I’ve chatted twice only to be told to wait up to 12 weeks. Today when I chatted I was told they “investigated” and found no offer attached to my account. This after three reps confirmed they saw it.
I went ballastic. The rep had the audacity to say they can’t manually give me the points because “they already gave me a 20,000 point retention offer”. I said those points weren’t free, I had to spend $2,000 and I just paid a $725 membership fee on my Platinum card on 2/15. Please don’t act like you gave me anything for free.
I escalated it to a supervisor who confirmed that the offer is on my account and to wait the 12 weeks. If I don’t get them by March 2, I’ll be contacting the executive office and the cpfb.
They messed with the wrong one today..lol I have every intention of canceling my bbp and blue cash ever day. Chase will get all my business going forward. I’ll transfer my existing points to JetBlue and be done with it. I’m keeping my Platinum until next year because I just paid the fee.
Hey - I donate the new stuff that doesn't fit to Goodwill! Still with tags!
I like when people call in with a huge amount of student loan debt and he asks them if they are doctors.
OK, for all us people waiting for our PNC bonus, is tomorrow finally our day? Someone said theirs posted on the last Friday, and that would be tomorrow. Please, I am tired of checking and wondering.
Oh. No. You. Didn’t.
And the complaining from this chick is mind blowing. She likens her pay to “poverty level “ and she makes in excess of 60k a yr for one person. (Not that she’s getting rich but she could be comfortable) Her mom is currently ill and this woman can’t take unpaid FMLA because ‘I have bills to pay’ and she used up her PTO and has no savings. It’s actually pretty sad but she can’t see it. It’s not her fault, she should just get paid more.My sister is like this and it drives me batty.
I have had great success with contacting the executive office. I had to get them involved when Amex froze my 100,000 points from the turkey day Platinum in 2017. I got a call from them a few hours after I emailed my complaint. The rep even transferred my points to Aeroplan for me after she unfroze them lol.I'm still waiting for my 10 on the same offer. Still waiting for them to "investigate." My back up plan is just to cancel pay over time and wait for them to extend the offer again.
My coworker puts them in her storage unit.Hey - I donate the new stuff that doesn't fit to Goodwill! Still with tags!
Lol...I still haven't tried on 3 of the tops I got at WHBM but 2 of them fit as I wore them this week.
But, I found a bag from November in the back of my car with 6 new tops in it I got on sale when I went to Florida. Completely forgot about them but that was okay because they are lighter warmer weather tops. I'll check them out before spring and cull if need be.
These are not pricey items - I shop the sale rack and usually get plenty of value by buying classic things that go year to year and season to season with layering.
Good luck to your GD! We did a Montessori school in Elliott City for pre-k and it was awesome! I still can’t believe he’ll be an 8th grader. He wanted to look at some other private schools, especially the one he has attended summer camp at. But given that is like $35k a year without all of the extra fees, uniforms, etc and that just wasn’t anything. This one is expensive enough.I hope we have luck with my granddaughter. We are trying to get her into preschool at UMd this fall. We visited the school earlier this week and I'm impressed with the program and she was able to go through the classrooms and meet the staff and she loved it.
Unfortunately she is way down on the list as currently parents with affiliations take precedence, but there is still a chance.
Only reason I can think of for using CIP for fees over gc's would be for the travel insurance benefits.
This is something u should not to do if your travel is not an actually business trip. Chase will ask you to prove your business trip.
You need to get a CSR for that.
@elgerber I am one of those waiting on the PNC bonus. I pushed from Chase and finished my debit charges on 2/4. No bonus yet. I read one reddit report where someone got the bonus on 2/8. Making me feel less confident in my Chase transfer counting. I am hoping it is tomorrow. But just in case I changed my DD at work. I figured if I get the bonus tomorrow, I'll just change it back.
.
I didn't get any emails. That is another reason I am concerned.I know my push counted, because I got an email confirming my direct deposit yet I still have no bonus :-(
DH misplaced $200 worth of Visa gift certificates that we picked up at Safeway Monday. They have to be in the house somewhere. I am so unhappy.
Sorta , sorta not.....
Time was coming for us to refill one of DH's meds. I was really thinking hard on a new credit card to get as this med was $1050 for 3 months last year. Due to our pacing and spacing I just didn't feel comfortable getting another card at this time so I was going to use the CIU for the 1.5 for UR's. When I went in today to get the Rx the price had gone up to $1200 for three months. UGH The young man helping me asked if we had applied for assistance. We had tried three years prior when DH first went on the meds but we were denied for "making too much money" so we just let it go. He says the manufacturer doesn't ask for any financial info now and starts clacking away on the computer, asking me a few basic profile questions. Five minutes later he says we are approved and our new payment is $10/mo for the first nine months of the year. The fourth refill will not be covered but by then we should have met our deductible and hopefully it will be less than $1200.
I'm so thankful I don't have an MSR to meet now and hopefully this will be the ONLY time I cry in a Target. I'm feeling truly blessed tonight!
Wow, 57K! If these drug companies can afford to do this why can't they jus tsell the meds for cheap to begin with? That is really great news. I am not sure how these manufacturers do this. DH has to get injections in his eyes due to damage from diabetes. The medicine is $2400 per eye. Last year he got injections once a month ($57K). The manufacturer had a program, again no financial limitations, where they would give it to you with just a $5 copay. I am not sure what my cost would have been with just my insurance but it definitely was going to be more than $5.
