I can still my closed accounts on the Chase website...The available credit should show 0
To hide an account ..click on...things you can do
Then...update settings and preferences
Then hide account

Thanks! Mine shows available credit as $0 and credit line as $12,000, so I'm thinking it's closed. Either way, I have it in writing in an SM from Chase that it's closed.

Ugh..on the dental work...

In your position....l think either or both of you could apply for the CIP....

.I currently have 4 Chase business cards open..is there a reason you keep 2 CICs instead of cancelling one ?
If you get the second CIP...if you don’t open another Chase card until you go for the SW CP you have plenty of time between applications

Your DH can self refer for a second CIP....

The definition of ENABLER!!!!!

No need for 2 CICs, unless Staples comes out with a good GC deal :rotfl:

Just earned my 1500 URs from the Chase Pay promotion. Much easier to accomplish when there isn't a $25 min. I was wondering if it would work since the offer was on my Freedom that I had just PCed from my CSP and the email said it was for a Sapphire card. But the points were attached to my third transaction, woot!
Are they available or pending? And by attached do you mean they showed in the transaction history points? I knocked this offer out immediately but don't see anything yet.

For those looking at a second CIP, is this before or after the first one is closed? or some of both?

I think most people here are after the first one is closed, but it appears as though it doesn't matter. I happened to close DH's CIP 10 days ago anyways without really knowing about 2nd CIPs, so I think I'll use my support link and apply for him again next month when I was planning to get him the CIU.

Alright, it's been awhile since I've talked churning because we've been working on our Capital One Venture MSR and wanted to stick to one at a time. We are now less than $200 away from meeting that MSR and I think Dh or I should get a card before our Japan trip. Here's where we are:

Me:
CIP-7/18
Hilton Biz-9/18
Capital One Venture-1/17/19

DH:
CIP-5/18
CSR-7/18
Hilton Honors-9/18
Southwest Biz-11/18

So I believe I'm at 1/24 and Dh is at 2/24 as well. Is that correct?

I'm kind of interested in the AA cards, but I'm not positive on that since we do have some URs. I potentially would use our URs for a future USO trip down the road (maybe next year). Once we hit one year for our CIPs we would either PC to CIC or close them and apply for CICs. I guess it depends where we're at with cards at that point. Dh's CIP is coming up here soon while mine isn't until July.

Any thoughts?
My first thought is waiting until you know if you're moving to FL. You talked about looking at houses. Does anyone know how a mortgage app would look at the credit card inquiries?

Maybe I'll be another DP. I was going to do United biz for DH this month, but...

Decided to ask for a check for my balance on my old CSR, because between the AF refund and the DCL reservation refund it's at over $1k. I'm going to let DHs SW Priority card ride though, since it's at around $40 from the $75 travel credit getting triggered by the taxes/fees on a points flight.

Just did some credit limit slashing with Chase across all of our accounts. Definitely didn't need a $13k limit now that my CSR is a Freedom (let's be honest I didn't really need $13k), and definitely never needed the $13k limit they gave me on my SW card. I cut back CIPs and SW Biz cards for both of use. Think I'm going to give it a couple days then try for a second CIP for DH.

Was going to do United Biz, 75k miles for $5k spend, AF waived first year. Instead he could do a 2nd CIP, 80k URs+ 20k URs if I refer him, for the same $5k spend plus a $95 AF? Chance for 105k URs for $95 > 80k United miles in my book!

I see AMEX offers for The Palm, $30 back on $150. I know there's one at Universal as well as around the US in case that's in anyone's plans.

My thoughts...you could possibly have both.
refer yourself from your CIP 1 for CIP 2....
When CIP 2 is approved :tinker:...and CIP1 is open a year...PC CIP1 to a CIC

When your ready to go after the signup bonus for a CIC....PC it to a CIU..they apply for a new CIC
Thank you for explaining this so easily because it’s exactly what I will plan to do later this year :wizard:

If I plan to buy a gift card for the AA credit on the Citi Aa biz card can I just get the e-gift card? I plan on listing it on Raise.
eGC works fine (better actually). :)

It’s not of consequence. Do whatever works best in your strategy and timeline.
