I have a few split-stays coming up. Must resist upgrading them ALL!

It is a great deal considering you get the base band price as "savings" towards the upgrade and your name will be printed on the inside rather than it being generic from the regular shops.

I am the queen of break downs, even with new cars. I had a car that was missing a washer to hold on the alternator and after so many miles of vibration, the bolt would shear and the car would come to a stop. I was probably towed 8 times before someone figured this out. The GM car dealership towed me most of those times, but also AAA.

Now that I have 2 older vehicles no way am I going without AAA. My insurance will give me their insurance. No thanks, AAA for me. I have a credit card that I believe I read something about breakdown insurance on it, but no thanks, I've trusted AAA for too long to pitch them and experiment with you.

There was the blowout while driving on I-95 in South Carolina - the tpm monitor corroded on my Jeep Cherokee and blew through the sidewall while I was driving 70-80mph. AAA came.

And this past November there was the battery I needed when I was not starting in my driveway, called AAA and applied for the Rose Gold while they were changing it out. Saved me time - a trip to get a battery, a jump start, etc.

I'm AAA all the way and I pay for it for my kids. Been doing that since they started driving and it comes due in December so I call it a Xmas gift.

One service call usually pays for it, plus it's on you not the car so if you are with someone not covered you can call them.

I have similar feelings about keeping my AAA membership. We’ve been with them a long time and are adding memberships for our kids onto our account as they move away to college. We’re rural dwellers, so a tow for us could be quite a few miles. My oldest Visa is a AAA BoA card that’s 20 years old and has given me lots of $ back on gas in my pre-churning days. I still find myself visiting our local office now and then for passport pictures, travel brochures, local theme park tickets. DH locked himself out of his car just a couple weeks ago and AAA got him in pretty quickly. He could have used his Amex Plat, but my kids don’t have the right cards and aren’t AU’s on ours for receiving such services. It certainly provides some peace of mind when they are on their own far from home. Maybe when the kids all finish college and have their own jobs, we’ll cancel and rely on a CC. Maybe!

Checking my cards to see which ones I used to buy from GCM in the last year. DoC has reported fraud DP’s. Also, could have sworn I read this morning about an issue with VGC’s bought at Kroger. Where was that?

It took me minutes just to get the page to load with my reservations. When I go to make my selection, there are no bands. I will keep checking throughout the day.

Oh boy, we have so many Magic Bands already.. one of each of the free ones because we've gone so much, plus DW has bought quite a few as well. I have a DAK band, plus an orange EPCOT 35th band I like a lot. She also has the Halloween 2018 band from MNSSHP last year that's really neat.

Yes, I suspect we will use this upgrade option a lot.

We just fight for a blue one But I'm so excited for this, I haven't been able to bring myself to pay for one (though we did pay for them for ILs on our wedding trip - yes I'm weird and cheap when it comes to myself ). DH wants the farewell Illuminations band.

I was declining the plain color ones too. I have like every color. SO and I bought bands once. I got the Pixar emoji band and he got the black one. For $10 I will buy multiple I want so many I hope they continue to add options. The Disney character emoji one was on my list but I'm not seeing it. I bet Disney will make so much more money by doing this. Like yeah they are getting $15 less per band from the people that won't buy a special one not but so many people will be like you and me where for $10 they will get one but not $25.

I am so bad! I’ve never declined. I have more blue and red MagicBands than I can count! I’ve even called IT and had all of my old 1.0 bands and some 2.0 bands that were from 2017 completely deleted because my account just had so many.

I was like that like I’m paying to stay on property I’ll not declining a band but it just got to be so overwhelming with so many in our account. It is annoying too that they aren’t active but you still see them like I want to delete them.

We have been declining the plain bands too....bought our 1.0 DVC bands a while ago...and they still work....

DH bought me a 2.0 DVC band for my birthday last year...so as cute as they are I will probably not get a new one....
DH should probably get one since his band is pretty old

question on PP lounges in MCO... when we land in a couple of weeks it''l be about 10:15 pm...staying in the airport Hyatt for the night before taking MDE to hotel next morning- I'd LOVE to make use of my PP privileges and get either late night snacks or early morning snacks at the PP lounge, think this is doable? I am trying to figure out the layout and rules for entry to PP(will they require a same day boarding pass to enter?) anyone who's been there helppp please? (flying SWA,have to get our luggage too)

It's been a few productive days for me. Friday morning got a next day approval for DH CIP #2. Then instant approval on Am Ex Hilton Honors Business 125,000 points plus $100 statement credit for me. Yesterday I thought why not go for Citi AA Business since I can use the Plastiq promo and pay mortgage for MSR. Got instant approval with $20,000 credit limit for me, despite DH just getting denied a few weeks ago with almost the same stats. Then today my first reload at Family Dollar onto my Serve using one of my fee free VGC from Staples. I've only used Plastiq once so here's my question. I have the temporary card number to start scheduling my payment, but since it expires at the end of the month I would have to change the card information for next month's payment. I don't want to lose that promo by changing the card. Anyone know if that would be a problem? If I want to pay my June mortgage I need to schedule it today or tomorrow. Three months of mortgage would put me over MSR, but otherwise if I wait until I get my permanent card I guess I'd only have time for two payments and then I'd just pay a couple hundred extra and get it done in two months.

I’m behind so this may have been addressed, but changing the number will most likely mess up the promo. I wouldn’t suggest doing that.

We have only been to the PP lounge on the B side once...they did ask me for our boarding passes, PP card and ID....it was not busy in the lounge at the time...also not sure what time they close

I need a recommendation for my DD26. She is 0/24. Her only cards are an old Marriott card and she's an au on ky amex gold. She just bought a house and will have significant spend coming up. I tried referring her for a CIP (tutoring business) but she got a 7-10 day message so I am not hopeful. She has plenty of personal slots so I'm not sure which way to go now.

Just quoting myself for a bump up. Anyone have any ideas?
