Thank you!Just started within the last month and reportedly started in Congress Park.
Any idea how long it takes to do the entire resort? It’s pretty big!!!Just started within the last month and reportedly started in Congress Park.
Not a chance. Two year minimum is expectation.I think I’ll be there June of 2020 so hopefully they’ll be mostly done by then
Got a link for us lazy folks? They have started in Congress Park. They have two blocks (buildings) out of action. They started by painting the outsides. They took all the furniture out and took it away in vans. They have cherry pickers outside and contruction notices, windows with paper stuck in, and the car park adjacent partly fenced off with building materials/ machinery. There is a thread on it, over on dibb which is a UK disney board, there is a DVC section and someone has been posting photos up on there of the latest progress.
The Treehouse Villas received a soft goods refurbishment in 2016, so probably nothing additional until 2023.Does anyone know if the Treehouses will be included in the refurbishment? If so, are there any pictures of the prototype of the new look for them?

Yep. I LOVE SSR. But I have to admit, it was due for a refurb. The upgraded furniture and fixtures are elegant. I like them. It's just missing something that gives it ... warmth? heart? Some color in pillows, paintings/sculpture, or a rug or some custom lamps similar to the horse lamps in the old rooms would do wonders to finish the rooms and give them some Disney magic. There is not much color in those pictures. Looks like the new color scheme is mostly black, gray, and white.
