Has anyone had any luck requesting a table or being able to use a stroller with a wheelchair tag inside Oga’s at WDW? I know I read people were able to request one at DL, but I’m not sure if WDW is following suit. DS needs to be able to sit in his own space. The rest of us are fine with standing. TIA!

If you want a seat ask. We did twice and they got us a seat both times. If you don’t ask you most likely will be standing. You may just have to wait a little longer.

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews for Oga's, as I absolutely LOVED it! I think it must be a matter of expectations: I expected a bar with music, laughter, weird drinks, and a ton of SW-esque themeing - and I experienced exactly that. If I lived closer, I'd find a way to budget it once a week, lol! But yeah, if someone goes in expecting a full food menu, or regular drinks you can find anywhere else, or a sanitized "pretend" bar, I think they'll be disappointed. It felt like most nightclubs and bars I frequented in my youth, only Star Wars-y.
Oga's was one of my favorite things on Batuu
It's very similar to Trader Sam's, in the way it's set up. For those looking for a comparison

some of the negative reviews are around how they were treated - how they are stuffing people at tables/high tops that are not big enough for the # of people they are putting at them, and how you aren't allowed (or at least they weren't) allowed to walk around and check the place out (some saying they were yelled at to get back to their spot).

So I think it has been mixed experiences. Many people have had really good times, but some people have had fairly negative ones and like a lot of things the negative ones are often the loudest
We went 3 times over the first 3 days
Everytime we were told you could not walk around during the time you had for your table. After you were done you could look around all your wanted. They explained that it confused them. It made sense to me. If even party of a group got up there's then openings at the table so the CM will assume more can be seated in that spot

Funny never DH and I were shocked that in 3 visits we were seated twice. Never asked for anything specific. I figured odds are we'd by standing more than seated but we find the opposite. Thankfully. I prefer seated

We had to switch our Disney day from today to next Monday due to weather forecast, but have now lost our reservations for Oga's. If anyone has one for Monday 9th they are thinking of giving up, please let me know!!

I guess I was a bit let down as we were SQUEEZED in there, I mean at a standing table that was meant for 5 or so and there were 9 of us, I mean there was NO room for the drinks we ordered and had to ask the others to please scoot in. It was HOT that day and the margaritaish drink with rosemary was disgusting to the point we only took 2 drinks from it. While I admire trying to make it SW theme but did the creator taste that junk? They missed the bar here literally as it should have been a full service bar as that might have justified the cost, I forsee it coming as it just was not that fun or good, IMHO to the point I canceled my second reservation...........

We did not try to bring a stroller inside but I did see at least one wheelchair. We did request a table with seats when we had the kids with us(party of 5). They said it was probably be an extra 5-10 minutes. Our name came up pretty quickly and we started to walk in and asked if it was a table. No, it was not so our name went back on the list. They tried again and the table they thought they had for us still had people at it. I got the impression that they were there past their 45 minutes and they were going to get some to ask them to move along. We eventually got seats but it was certainly not as smooth as the times my party of two was just placed at the bar.

I knew it would be crowded and standing room only for the most part. The part I was surprised about was a party of 4 getting two spots at the bar and being told the other two could stand behind.

We were also at a standing table with 9 of us at one point. It was pretty squishy, but it was fun! I may have accidentally had a sip or 2 of the drink of the person beside me. You’re right. Not much room for drinks. :rotfl:

I’d much rather be at the bar or standing table then seated at a table. It was easier to have conversations with multiple people.

I heard other guests say they were at spaces without enough room at various visits. We were never placed at a too full table or space but I got the impression that we were lucky in that respect.
I wonder if they are pushing the numbers at Oga's right now, trying to get in as many as possible.

Nobody should be asked to stand behind someone. That’s a safety hazard (in the way, more likely to spill) and a huge inconvenience to the people who have nowhere to set their drinks. I would ask to wait til there’s actually room for me.

Yep, ITA. That's how I explained it to my son, who won't visit with me until the weather cools off. He has a hard time with loudness and lack of personal space, so I wanted him to really grasp what it's like in Oga's before deciding whether or not he wants to check it out.

That is what happened to our server when he came with the first round of drinks for the other people at our table, there was zero room to move or even cool off, he was bumped good enough that the drinks split on his tray and was dripping wet when he placed it on the table almost to the point of him dropping it and the guy who bumped him did not even acknowledge and moved on. He did offer to get "clean" drinks but the others said it was fine. I dont get the allure of the place to keep going back and paying those silly crazy prices and feel like we were caged in, it was a def one and done for us, maybe, just maybe in a few years might wonder back in but no need now....

I wonder if it will keep up with them pushing this many people in to it or if this is just since it is new ... I am all for a fun, packed bar, but this (and other reports) seem to make it a bit too much. I know the comparison is Trader Sam's but they don't let it get that packed in there (or at least I have never seen it like that)

I am sure we will want to go at least once anyway just to see it but we currently have two reservations for our trip in February and if it is still like this I could see us cancelling the 2nd one

VERY possible the cause was it was opening day and they were packing them in, not sure if this is the standard but I hear ya on a packed bar but this was to the point of being ridiculous and it was only 3PM! I say go to the early ADR and see how it goes and go from there.......
