Yes, AMC between 4-5:30p.

Our DDs are 19 and 21 and they wanted to go see Frozen 2 the day it came out, so we all went and even brought DS 17 along. We had the oldest kids in the theater. Oldest parents too.

Your kids exactly match my kids in age and gender! I think DS is the only one who has seen Frozen 2 here. lol Shocked me when he told me that is what they watched. But I guess there were girls involved in the decision. lol

Got an email from Amex my Staples offer was about to expire. Super stoked as I had apparently forgotten about a Staples offer I track down the card... to see my offer for 1 additional MR is set to expire in 9 days :badpc:

Same but mine is the $25 off $100 so I need to use it. I kept meaning to pop in there and buy a DGC but it never happened. Thinking I should just order online and pay the small fee but afraid it will take forever to ship. Maybe I'll get there tomorrow when I'm running other errands just to be safe. I think I have it on 2 cards and DVC dues are due soon.

We are at airport and I forgot to ask ... anyone know whether 4 upgraded positions with southwest priority card are annual or card anniversary? I’ll use them up on this trip if annual. Thanks!

I don't think I've done a Minimum Spending Sunday post in a while so let's see what you're working on.

Me:
  • $10k on Amex Biz Plat. Planning to do a mix of organic spend since Amex likes that, grocery store (no L3 data) GCs, and paying our property taxes via Plastiq.
  • ~$3.4k on US Bank Biz Rewards. This one is going slooooow since they only gave me a $500 CL.
P2:
  • If approved (applied this morning, status line at 2 weeks), $5k on CIP.
  • Otherwise he'll be helping out with organic spend towards my Amex plat using the free AU green card I got him.
Edited to add: I should probably let P2 know he applied for a new card...

SOUTHWEST UPGRADED BOARDINGS

Each anniversary year you will be reimbursed for the purchase of up to 4 Upgraded Boardings which are positions A1-A15

Looks like anniversary year

Anniversary as others have said and I think it's tied to the AF date because I paid for one 11/29 and AF was charged 12/1 and it did not trigger the 'new' year credits.

I'm not working on any right now. I'm planning to reassess in January.

They are card anniversary
Awesome you guys, thanks! We just did one instead of blowing them all as we have another flight before anniversary year.

Thank you! My daughter appreciates this also.

I had a wonderful grandmother until my early teens when she passed on. I can still remember going to their house and visiting, and always wanted to/ got to stay for a week or so in summer when school was out. It was a big farmhouse, with all the animals, etc, horses to ride, chickens to chase, gardens to raid for sweet peas and strawberries. We didn't live that far away, but all my cousins would come on weekends also, so it was heavenly from a kids point of view.

Even when my grandma passed, my aunt and uncle lived there and were just as hospitable to us all. There were 300 acres of fields and forest to roam plus barns and outbuildings - old timey type of place. The property is still in our family today with one of my cousins and his family living there and family has put on a few reunions there.

Love this! My side has never been close, and are scattered all across the country. My brother who's closest to me was deployed overseas this summer so it's unlikely we'll see him for the next 3 years. So I never appreciated having family/extended family gatherings. DH's extended and immediate family are all here in CA. I used to complain about how many of our weekends get booked up for family events. Only after having kids did I start to appreciate them getting to run around with their cousins and see their aunts and uncles frequently.
