We will be at BWV on the 26th. Planning on doing this madness on the 27th & 28th. Maybe we will see you on the walk over :)
Probably, we are trying on the 27th (Full on Star Wars day including dessert party) and on the 1st. My biggest concern is Savi's and or Dessert party conflicting with RotR.....MTFBWY!

That was a quick pace walk. I’m a fast walker in general and with this being our first day to try, our family was walking at a brisk pace. But I’d say 15 minutes is an easy pace from BWV
Thanks for this, at 6'4" I walk pretty quickly, but my 5'3" DW and 4' something DS do not....lol

Do any of you long-serving helpers on this thread have a sense of where in HS someone with Verizon might find the best cell signal? I’m headed down from the frozen north (Vermont) in two weeks, and this is the one thing I’m most worried about.

We’re also doing a “full on Star Wars day” including Savis, DD, Ogas and the dessert party. I scheduled Savis during EMH to help avoid a RotR BG conflict. Savis is the experience my sons most want. I’m my view, RotR will trump our other reservations. There should be EMH on the 1st. Good luck!

is there no way you can use data? People have reported being most successful off of Disney WiFi. But those that have reported using WiFi they have said that by the restrooms and wheelchair rental at the entrance was good, that's the only one I remember clearly

Continued my practice leading up to my trip in a couple of weeks. Yesterday I had the same issues as many from home, with my button not turning red (or giving me the option to join through my status) until after back-up groups were available, which was frustrating.

Today, I was successful at the button turning red within 1 second of clicking find out more. I had the app open and ready for 4 minutes prior to 8:00. The only issue today is that two of my party who will be there (including myself) were not listed. However, I just proceeded and know that if it happens while I'm there, I'll just find the GET to hopefully help fix this instead of worrying too much about it.

Has anyone kept track of where people who got really low boarding numbers were standing? It might be interesting to see if there was any kind of link between low boarding group numbers as where you were standing?
I have Verizon and got BG4 standing next to the bathrooms before you enter Toy Story Land. I would recommend opening the app 10 or so seconds before 7a (or 8a)...

RotR is the big winner but Savi's was awesome too. We were on the fence for Savi's wondering if it would just feel like a money grab but honestly have to say the experience was worth the splurge. The CM who hosted our show was spectacular and my 17yo son was like a little kid again :)

We were lined up to go into toy story land, right beside the DVC kiosk that is just at the turn into TSL. We could see the Woody TSL sign ahead in our right. We used Verizon and had good signal, my DH checked speed and said Verizon LTE was WAY faster than WiFi

We were heading to TSL right at the turn into it, by the DVC kiosk and slightly ahead of that coffee/snack stand at the entrance to the Incredibles area. We could see the Woody TSL sign ahead on the right. I got BG 4 on Verizon cellular.

Yup, we did Savi in June at DL for our middle son. I have friends who think it's just a money grab, and to each their own, but the intimate setting and the CMs in there make it feel so real that it's almost like a spiritual experience between you, the other builders, and the Force itself. My youngest son is budding into being a big SW fan himself, but he's not ready. And it is $$$. He has to go through Jedi Training a time or two before he can build ;) He'll be content for now building a Droid.

I'm honestly sooo excited to build a lightsaber along w/ my DS10. Wife has no interest and was hesitant at the price, but she finally agreed that 1) it would be really mean for me to do it and not let him, 2) his excitement over the experience would be worth it, and 3) she could hold it over his head if he tried to avoid any of the rides....lol
