Friday 1/17/20 Day 4! People Mover finally!

MK EMH this morning. We always try to do the extra magic hour at MK. It is usually pretty productive before the 9am crowds arrive.

I started to do my own hack for security. I use a very small backpack which is easily foldable. I put the few things I carry into my pockets and Andi’s. I carry a small pocket wallet, hand sanitizer, epi-pen, and lipgloss. This saved us so much time! Once we were through the no bag line, I would unfold my little backpack and put the few items back in. My phone is usually in my pocket.

The security lines have become ridiculously long at all the parks and the bag less line is awesome! I almost called this TR, bag less is better than bra less, haha.

I did notice the CM’s checked your magic bands before entering the park. I thought this was an improvement from last time. Before, the CM’s would check before they let you in the lands and it took a small chunk of time from your extra magic hour!

I’m not sure how they kept non resort guests from walking up. I did notice signs and it was blocked off if you weren’t a resort guest.

We decided to do WtP first. I know this ride isn’t the first one most would pick except this ride is a slow loader and gets busy fast. We like to do it first thing. We love bouncing with Tigger and visiting with Pooh and friends.

We decided to head over to Buzz next. This was a walk on. It looked like the line area is being redone. There were walls up along the line.

I can’t remember at this time, however, I am sure Andi was a galactic hero again!

After the ride, we checked on PM and it was up and running. We finally get to ride one of our favorites! Here is the obligatory PM picture. Andi thought I was cuckoo for taking the leg/feet picture.

We still had some time left in the extra magic hour and IASW was really our only option before the 9am opening. We cruised the world with all the little children and animals. Some cute, some weird and some creepy! I took a picture of Don Quixote since Andi was in this area of Spain on her trip there.

Our plan was HM right at park opening. This worked well and we walked right on. I was trying to highlight my HM shirt. It looks like I may have been starting to blink because my eyes looked funny!

This was an enjoyable ride as always, “Hurry Back”, yes we will!

We headed towards Adventure Land and saw one of the Country Bears out visiting. I forget who this is, anyone? Andi isn’t here to ask!

We hit another favorite before the crowds over took it! Pirates life is for me! This was still a fairly quick walk on. After we discussed the rum issue with Red, it was time to mosey around for a little while.

We like to take in the sights and sounds. The park was getting busy now. We decided to do Tiki Birds . This is a fun little show. I like watching kids in here, some are really loving it and others are bored to tears

We still had some time before our 11:15 ADR at Be Our Guest and CoP was a perfect choice. I love this show and sitting for 20 minutes is such a plus!

It was time to check in for our lunch. Andi wanted hot sauce for her grilled cheese, yes she is a hot sauce fanatic. She booked all the way to Pecos Bills to get some. I sat by the beasts castle waiting for her. An older boy with special needs sat by me. He liked my HM t-shirt which was fine, except, he kept touching my chest pointing at it. It was a little uncomfortable I talked with him and he was very nice just a little handsy. Andi came back and we checked in and were sent down the left side, yay! Pre order here people! It is a must. The right side was so backed up. I notice we didn’t get a Rose anymore to set on your table, just the receipt.

I had preordered the Turkey sandwich and the Master’s cupcake. Andi had the grilled cheese from the kid’s menu and the triple chocolate cupcake. My carved turkey sandwich was very good. It was moist and the bread was fresh. I really enjoyed it. The fries are okay, a little to thin and hard for me.

Andi said her grilled cheese was fair, to much crust and thick bread was her complaint. She used her hot sauce and this helped. She got fries and a cup of soup with hers.

The cupcakes were delicious except they keep shrinking in size! We enjoyed our lunch. We decided to head out of the busy MK after lunch.

As we were leaving, the trolley show performers were singing and dancing . We sang along and watched for a little bit.

We headed back to OKW, we wanted to do some laundry. Andi’s coffee had exploded on the airplane and her sweatshirt needed washing.

The laundry facilities were by the quiet pool and ice machine. I put a load in and got my precious ice

We relaxed in the room, little did we know, this would be the last time we actually could. Oh no foreshadowing!!

BOG lunch cost = $37.77

We don't always make it but I feel like morning EMH in all parks but HS is a good thing. I used to love evening EMH but don't feel you get much value from them these days unfortunately.

I love the OKW pool…it's where Nicholas learned how to swim underwater so it holds a really special place in my heart.
