September crew... what are you doing?

We cancelled and I’m really sad about it. I just couldn’t see spending my whole week nagging my kids to keep their masks on in the heat, giving my brother’s kids such a modified experience for their first trip, or putting my older parents at increased risk unnecessarily. Hoping to reschedule for sept 21 and fingers crossed it won’t be out of control busy then. The only silver lining is the kids will all be taller by then so maybe we can justify a day or two at universal too.

I, we all, feel your pain . I am still holding out hope and have a little over 2 months to decide. My mood changes daily, sometimes hourly about going. I REALLY want to go & it’s not a first time or once in a lifetime trip for DGS & I so I’m still waiting and watching.

We are going from sept 7 to the 17th. Most at Boulder springs with three days at boardwalk. No plans to go to parks. I won’t go with a mask on, I’m too claustrophobic. Plus we could care less about the parks. We were going to aulani during that time (rescheduled from May) but Hawaii just seems to iffy right now. after canceling three trips this year already we have thousands of dollars of United credits to use, but we are going to drive down in September.

If you're schedule to visit WDW in September or are planning a trip, are you still going? Considering that its possible that none of the current restrictions will be lifted and we will be without parades, fireworks, etc... I said I would not go to WDW if we have to wear mask. That's simply a deal breaker for me. Also not having the full Disney experience is kind of disappointing. I'm suppose to be in Disney end of June but I'm strongly considering moving everything to 2021.

Had Beach Club Villas (Cash purchase) 1 Bed booked Sep 22-27.
Cancelled.
Was bringing wife and daughter for her 2nd bday. Having her wear a mask is laughable.
Won't be back until ridiculous mask restrictions are over.

No survey here, trip in ~90 days at BLT. Right now, I'm trying to find masks where I don't want to set them on fire in under 30 minutes in Florida heat and humidity (of course the cute ones are made of horrible material that just traps all the hot air). My family and I are planning backup ideas if we can't get into the parks or can't go back into the park later in the evening and then backup ideas for the backup plans. Worst comes to worst, it's eight days of sitting out on the balcony with a bunch of books and watching the monorail go by.

I'm happy I invested in DVC last year and decided to use two years of points for a 1-bedroom instead of having us in a studio.

We are staying at YC 9/5 - 9/11 and yesterday was the second survey I received; this one was asking if I was aware of the new policies and procedures in effect, and if I was still planning to visit. All multiple choice, and no where to add comments.

I wonder if it has to do with when you booked? I only booked my trip in May right before they announced re-opening maybe surveys are going to guests who booked long before any of this happened under much different expectations?

We are booked 9/5 - 9/17 since last September and have not gotten any surveys.
