Having NO Luck making Reservations

Totally disappointed in Disney. No online reservations available for the Fort or any Resort in the next 500 days. No one will answer their phone, "all circuits are busy, try again later" is the best they can do. Has anyone had any success booking any kind of reservations lately? This may be the end of our annual pass renewals and anything Disney!

I literally just booked the week of 9-18 to 9-25 2021 5 minutes ago. Every type of site was available.

I was just looking and saw availability for resorts for next year. want to book a Disney package with Florida resident tickets but it won't let me do it online. I'm getting the same "all circuits are busy"

Thank you Minniefan18 and Brett. Hope I have better luck after this second cup of coffee.

Which is only 456 days from today. So for those of you in a holding pattern for booking Halloween (which is currently inside the usual 500 day booking window), keep holding. And remember the calculation is based on ARRIVAL day IIRC.

CM on the phone told me there is no 500 day window right now.

DW tried to add tickets to our Feb 21 Preferred campsite reservation a couple days ago when we could. Sat on hold 3 hours. CM said he couldn’t do it without cancelling the Fort reservation and there were no Preferred sites left. Opted against that plan.

she called this morning and got the all circuits busy message. But Then was able to make park reservations online. Will deal with merging them later.

I ordered tickets for Feb 21 this morning, Pluto. I already had the room-only reservation. Good luck on getting them merged.

See my post regarding that in the DISMeet thread on the Community Board.

If they published that change of policy or change of the rules in their considerable amount of messaging on the MDE website, I missed it. I guess you had to read between the lines of Sept 26th is the farthest down the calendar you can go online right now, and count the days backwards.

That policy makes no sense to me that you have to control how many bookings you accept via phone only, but historically they have been controlling how many campsites get booked via online everyday anyway.

I appreciate everyone's input on what is happening to our favorite campground's reservation system. Thank you!

Thank you

You are welcome, Ray.

At some point they will drop (or extend) the max booking/park reservation date of 9/26/21 and if they resume the usual 500 day window (or extend beyond 10/31/21), you need to be online or on the phone in the first few hours of when that booking becomes available that first day because October, particularly the weekends and Halloween, will go fast. As I said, Halloween is already inside of 500 days from today.

Last year they released next year rates earlier in June and changed the 500 day reservation rule from 500 days from check-out to 500 days from arrival/check-in. Disney didn't announce that change, the just implemented it. Once word got out the inventory got all reserved and folks who didn't note the change got left out or looking for cancellations.

PS - 500 days out from today, June 28, 2020 gives a max arrival window of November 10, 2021.

Thanks Ed!!

I think the limited number of days also relates to the 50th anniversary timing. They probably want to wait a bit given the current state of booking to be able to handle the onslaught of people wanting to be there for the big day....
I just want Halloween next year!

That’s what I was going to sayOctober is the 50th too amd after all this covid stiff, I’m sure it will be packed.

Yup ... I think the 50th is the big reason October hasn't opened up yet. Not just for the actual 50th anniversary date, but there will be some sort of limited ongoing celebration for at least a few months.
