What movie did you watch over and over again as a kid?

When I was a "kid", we didn't have movies to watch over and over except the holiday specials and things like the Sound of Music which were on every year. And we did watch them over and over.
For my kids, I remember my daughter re-watching Free Willy so many, many times. I don't really remember my son being that focused on any one movie.

Guess I am old, because we didn’t even have a VCR or Cable until I was in High School. Now my DD (11) has had several. Currently it is the movie Clue - We introduced it to her a few weeks ago, and she has now watched it 3 times. Some whe wn was younger include, Lion King, Little Mermaid, Tangled and Frozen. I think I still have large sections of dialog memorized, not to mention the music.

I don’t remember what movies I watched over and over but DD watched Bambi over and over and wore out the VHS tape. DGS is currently going through a Frosty the Snowman phase. He watches it at least once a day....every day!

When I was about 6th grade we got a copy of Princess Bride so that was the first one I could watch repeatedly.

DD21 was obsessed with Bugs Life when she was a toddler. But even then we didn't have a big collection of tapes to watch.

Same here, just able to look forward to the yearly showing of movies, mainly around the holidays throughout the year. Some of the movies I recall were King Kong, March of the Wooden Soldiers, Miracle on 34th Street, Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan and Sound of Music. I am sure I am forgetting some. Always found it odd that one of the local stations always chose to show King Kong and Mighty Joe Young on Thanksgiving!

I grew up in the pre-VCR age also. So it was yearly showings of things like Wizard of Oz, Ten Commandments, Miracle on 34th St. I do remember that my parents had a Betamax that they got right around the time I went to college. So, my younger siblings may have had things that they watched often.

We had a VCR and cable. I'm blanking on something I watched over and over. However, my cousin (who practically lived at my house when we were kids) watched Steel Magnolias over and over. I remember her watching it a ton. She knew it by heart.
