Walt Disney Company Q3 Earnings Report

At $30 PLUS the cost of the monthly subscription? Man, I think Fandango Online and Amazon would like to talk to you to find out how much more they could be charging for new movie premieres...
I’d pay it. I’m on the D23 deal for Disney+, so paying roughly $3 and change a month for Disney+. $30 is less than I’d pay to go to the movies with my wife and buy snacks, so yeah, I’m good with it.

I assume they are gonna piss off all Domestic theater chains with this news, as well...not just D+ subscribers...in fact, I'm not sure anyone will like this news...
They have likely discussed it already with their distribution partners and the major exhibitors. Remember it wasn’t Universal releasing Trolls World Tour on Premium On Demand that started the rift between them and some exihibitors. It was Jeff Shell saying that Universal Pictures would release On Demand going forward to in addition to theatrical releases.

It isn't their goal, but adding uncertainty to travelers schedules isn't going to get you to that point any quicker. If you aren't losing money you don't cut days. I could see them cutting an hour at each park and maybe 2 hours at Epcot.
Exactly. If they're hitting their expected numbers right now then why do anything that might cause cancellations?

And now you have Chapek taking the polar opposite approach to Universal’s/Jeff Shell’s in response to a question about theatrical releases post-COVID-19.

Will Mulan be a 2 day timed rental?

Or once you buy it you have it as long as it is on the service like the others?

Bob mentioned content from 20th, Fox TV, FX, etc. under a new umbrella brand for streaming and mentioned the D+ platform, but it wasn't clear to me if he was talking about whether it would be content on D+, or if it was a new streaming service that just leveraged the existing D+ platform technology.

Sorry to backtrack a bit, but I didn't see anyone discussing this (maybe I'm the only one who was fuzzy on this).
