Right, so they thought the positive contribution number was fairly easily achievable, but sounds like they struggled to hit it.

Mulan to Disney+ is a one off, but Bob is very excited to see the demand for it. So could be done again going forward.

OK so maybe cut backs are still coming, especially if September is expected to be quieter
Presumably some of that 50% "travelling" are still APs though? So non AP guests might be much less than 50%50% of their current guest base traveling to WDW, and the rest in FL/local. High numbers of cancellations.
Disney isn't going to stop something that works.so it is a one off unless it isn't
But cases are spiking in Europe and Japan.I think it has to do with the markets as well. This tells me they have no faith whatsoever in the US market coming back anytime soon, but possibly so for those overseas. If they can release Mulan in Europe and Asia, it would likely make more money there than Black Widow would.
What did they say to make you believe this?Right, so they thought the positive contribution number was fairly easily achievable, but sounds like they struggled to hit it.

They have not added a whole micropayments solution to Disney+ for a one off. No way.Mulan to Disney+ is a one off, but Bob is very excited to see the demand for it. So could be done again going forward.
And Israel, and Australia... more countries almost daily in factBut cases are spiking in Europe and Japan.

If it fails sure it is. If successful they will do more of this no doubt. They have not added a whole micropayments solution to Disney+ for a one off. No way.
I would have to imagine a large amount of that 50% of those traveling are DVC/AP from out of state.
Wait, what is STAR? Is it a new announcement? Will it be international? Will disney+ be losing Nat Geo etc content to it?
