Boardwalk Luna pool

I just realized the slide is down for the Luna pool. It does not make a big difference to us except one day we where going to do the pool and we have three little ones that really like slides ... will they let us go to the beach club for that one afternoon during the week ??
I am guessing probably not but you never know ....

They are not allowing pool hopping to the Beach Club main pool, including because it is not even open.

I just saw that too. I'm disappointed. The pool is one of the main reasons we chose BWV. I'm having a hard time staying positive about this trip. All I seem to be hearing is negative, closures, long lines, horrible bus service, refurbishments. I was kind of bummed that the TTA remains closed at MK. Then I read the river will be drained. Now I see walls around Small World.

I knew about the center of Epcot FW being walled up, but now I see there are walls in Italy too.

I thought if we weren't enjoying the parks so much we could relax at the resort instead. But now I see that the pool slide is closed and the nightly movies are at community hall instead of on the grassy boardwalk area where they used to be. Is that true, does anyone know? I read it on Disney's website. Wouldn't it be much easier to distance outside in a big grassy area than inside community hall?

Thank you RaySharpton! At least the pool hours are decent. With the early park closures we will have plenty of time to hit the pool in the evening and unwind.

I wanted to apologize for my negative post yesterday. I vented, slept on it, and I've now moved on lol. I know we will have a great time regardless. We have done everything multiple times before except Rise of the Resistance and MM Railway. So we don't need to do it all. I know I will feel the stress drain away when I go under the Welcome archway. I will feel so happy when I hear the first CM say Welcome Home. I know I will enjoy F&W (or whatever they're calling it this year) snacks. I know I will enjoy just walking up the main streets of each park, seeing the castle, Walt and Mickey, Spaceship Earth, the Tree, the Chinese Theater. My DD will be happy there are no shows for me to drag her to lol. I'm looking forward to the character cavalcades, especially the Halloween ones. I'm even sort of looking forward to masked PhotoPass photos to document this crazy backwards upside down year. :upsidedow

It's OK to be disappointed. Some days it feels like just one more disappointment for this year. But we are alive and healthy and get to go on vacation. So, I guess it's not all bad.

I sure wish Disney would let us know what they plan to replace the clown with. I can't stand the suspense! Patience is not one of my strong virtues!!!:crazy2:

A boardwalk CM told us 2 weeks ago that the clown was going and it will be replaced with a collage of animals. Not sure if it is Disney animals or circus animals.
I know this might be heresy, but I for one will not miss the clown. I always thought it was creepy, and when my daughters were young it freaked them out.
