Years ago when I was in the Boy Scouts you could go into just about any grocery store and buy Danish bacon in a can. It was great for camping. It was very very salty, but was actually pretty tasty, especially on a cold morning. Now you can still buy canned bacon, but from survivalist outfits and it is very expensive. Back when I was in Scouts, it was like $2 for a can.

We use to take that camping growing up. Super salty but delicious. It was our treat on camping trips. Ok sky enough I was wondering about this the other day.

A few people mentioned PB Maxx, they were my go to candy as a kid.

Kraft used to make a boxed meal in a brown box (similar to a mac and cheese box) called Savory Chicken. They were little square noodles. I loved this stuff as a kid!

I loved Tide Boost stain pacs for the washer. After they disappeared off store shelves I found them on Amazon for a while, but now gone from there also. They were great for removing stains from my daughters clothes.

Decades ago when I was a teenager, our local grocery store had a candy from the UK called Union Jack Toffee-ettes. They were kinda like M&Ms, but were a caramel center covered in chocolate with a crispy toffee shell. The new caramel M&Ms are the closest to them I've ever found, but the shell isn't as good. I can't even find evidence that these ever existed, other than my sisters remember them, too.

The only thing I could find on google was:

Farrell's ice Cream Parlors (I heard there's a few new ones around)

a Union Jack brand candy I think was called Toffee-ettes (caramel center, covered in chocolate with a hard shell - way better than Milk Duds)

Most of mine are cosmetics. I just hate it when something I've used for years and work exactly the way I want it to just...disappears. Some that come immediately to mind are Loreal Studio Silk & Gloss hairspray, Maybelline Illegal Lengths mascara and Taylor's of London rose-scented talc. I miss them all so much and I've never found an exact replacement for any of it.
